Each of the rooms at the Inn is decorated according to the theme of an old-time play or movie. If you love antiques you'll really enjoy the eclectic items decorating the inn. The Allens, our hosts, really were knowledgeable about the attractions in the area, and they didn't hesitate to recommend particular sites and restaurants. The Morgan Inn is in... more

I endorse all the other posters' compliments -- Spacious, comfortable rooms. An appealing deck and back garden. Easy to get to from I95. . The innkeeper is friendly yet not intrusive. She offered breakfast at the time we requested, as well as brownies and tea/coffee always available. Just one little cavil -- all the charming knick-knacks, mementos and pillows do... more

My wife and I stayed here recently on our New England trip. You will be pleasantly surprised at this hidden gem of a b&b. The innkeeper is not only very hospitable, but she will go out of her way to make sure you enjoy your stay. I would go out of my way to stay there again (and I plan... more

When we first arrived, we were a little concerned not having stayed at the Mystic Inn before. Once we entered into the Inn, Linda, the owner, met us at the door with a warm welcome and a big smile. The rooms were very comfortable and the hospitality was first rate. Linda gave us a local's overview of the places to... more

My boyfriend and I have a thing for maritime/nautical destinations. If it's on the water, we want to go. Lou had never seen Mystic or Newport, RI...so the trip was a birthday gift. I chose the Morgan Inn because it wasn't directly in the Mystic city proper. The inn is about a 10 minute car ride..and with the exception of... more

VeraBlue, I just found your review and couldn't be happier. I want to thank you for your wonderful observations and consideration. You never know when someone who visits the inn will take the time to tell their story. I appreciate your kindness....until next time. Linda Allen-Innkeeper of The Morgan Inn

This small B&B is so perfect we hate to share but the Innkeepers, Linda and Don Allen, deserve recognition. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. There are nostalgic pieces everywhere you look! Breakfast is a full course affair which is served promptly and hot! You may enter as a guest but you leave as a friend. Close to the... more
