My husband and I stayed at the Harbor House Inn on a snowy winter night in January. We loved it, it was cozy and comfortable. We were in town for a private function and realized as we unpacked that my husband had forgotten to pack a dress shirt. The owners happened to come check on us just at that moment... more

I assume it is only a lack of competition allowing this place stay in business. It is especially the price versus value I still can't figure out. For over $200 a night, I would expect more up to date facilities and better service. Whoever is running this B&B, I doubt it is done with passion. I stayed with my husband... more

We are a family of four. Our children are 12 and 15 yrs old and we were taking this trip from New York to Cape Cod, Long Island and back to NYC. We stayed in the Harbor House inn only for one night. We had arrived at JFK and were heading out for Cape Cod. Chatham would be too far... more

I don't understand why the reviews on here are so bad. I stayed at the Harbor House Inn for the weekend with my boyfriend. We were scared after seeing these reviews but we ended up having a great time. Coming from NYC we were looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We found the people... more

From the outside delightful, inside tacky. Don't stop in room 204, unless of course you want to be privy to next-door's TV and cell phone calls - loud and clear. Think they carved up a room and used cardboard for the partition wall ! There were 2 cotton wool balls in the container, one for each ear perhaps, but, we... more

Nice area in general. We came from Italy and that was more or less what we expected. Some details need attention as for instance the old pieces of furniture and the fake flowers that actually look fake. The variety of breakfast items was poor. Good effords from the guys working at the front desk to assist us. The person at... more

We stayed a couple years ago, but I just wanted to add my two cents, since there are not a lot of reviews here to go by. My family and I like to travel to CT from NYC and stay overnight on weekends when we have the opportunity to get away. We tried Harbor House because it seemed nice, it... more

From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was home. The smell of freshly baked cookies filled the lobby! This place is simply wonderful, so cozy and elegant, Wonderful clean rooms with down comforters and duvets! My bathroom was so clean it sparkled! I took an early morning stroll to the beach, just a short walk from the inn. more

I don't recommend this place at all. I don't think Ms. Stuttig really understands customer service. Next time I am in Old Greenwich I will certainly stay elsewhere. more

I booked a room in Harbor House Inn for my grandparents, who were coming for a visit and specified, when making the reservation, that I'm only going to book a room , if they stay on the first floor because of their difficulties going up the stairs. I was actually shown the room and reassured that would be no problem.When... more
