Unfortunately just 1 night at the Lathrop Manor but we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The house and grounds are beautiful and Cheryl and Marco were perfect hosts. Breakfast was 5-star and just divine. So comfortable and welcoming. I do hope we find a reason to go back. Thank you!

You know how you have a vision of a B&B and it ends up being a sketchy deal..bad bed, meh breakfast, etc.? NOT the case with Lathrop. Truly historic and gorgeous home? Check. Lovely, personable hosts? Check? Unbelievably comfortable bed? Check. Memorable breakfast? Check. We stayed here instead of the wildly overpriced casino hotels. Just a quick 15-minute drive to... My husband and I had the distinct please of staying at the Lathrop Manor B&B just this past Saturday night and it was absolutely wonderful. Marco and Cheryl treated us like members of the family. We arrived in a snowstorm and they couldn't have made our welcome more warm. Their two dogs, Jack & Zoe, were equally welcoming! When we... More

OK, a house built in 1744, with an oversize bedroom, appointed with classy furniture and perhaps the single most comfortable king-size bed you will find in a B&B, is the start of it all. Add to that, comfortable rooms throughout in which to relax - read, visit or watch TV. Then, when you wake up in the morning, you will... More

Just returned from this inn in Norwich, CT. This is a lovely historic home. Marco and Sheryl are wonderful hosts. We had one of the best B&B breakfasts we ever had. The inn is about 8 miles from Mohegan Sun, and maybe 20 to 30 minutes from Mystic Ct. So, this is a nice centrally located inn. Highly recommended.

Following review from Mrs. Fabulousdave: The Lathrop Manor Bed & Breakfast provides a warm, friendly, but not overpowering bed and breakfast experience in an historic 1744 home. Perhaps the most impressive feature of this b&b is the outstanding conversion of a colonial home into a modern, comfortable house. Electricity, plumbing and HVAC have all been unobtrusively retrofitted, so that the... More

My husband surprised me with a night away for my birthday. It was a perfect getaway. Marco and Sheryl welcomed us into their home. They were the perfect hosts and felt like old friends. Location was convenient to the casino and the homemade breakfast didn't disappoint. The cinnamon buns were delicious. Our room was cozy and the little treats we... More

A beautifully restored historic home with warm and hospitable owners. Sheryl and Marco made us feel right at home and we very much enjoyed chatting with them beside the warmth of the fireplace. I very much enjoyed the much-needed gigantic cup of coffee in the morning and the cinnamon rolls were to die for! My only regret is that we... More

We stayed at Lathrop Manor for one night, we had tickets to a show that night at Foxwoods. We were greeted warmly by Marco and Cheryl and shown our room, complete with a complimentary bottle of wine. The room had a four poster bed, adjacent bathroom with amenities, and waiting by the bedside table were three bite sized chocolates. When... More

Lathrop Manor is an authentic early 18th century home converted to a B&B. The rooms have antique plank floors and open beam ceilings. The home is spacious but with a Spartan colonial décor. Our room had a king sized four poster bed. In deference to the 21st century, it also had a fully modern bath and an HD TV. Terry... More
