My husband treated me to a weekend away for my birthday. We chose to go to The Spa at Norwich Inn after seeing how beautiful it looked on the website. We were booked into a Villa which was $350 a night, pretty steep, but we thought (from looking at the website) it would be worth it. Ohhhhh were we wrong!... More

First, let me apologize for such a disappointing visit. Judging from your description, the room condition from a hotel housekeeping perspective was totally unacceptable! Not everyone is comfortable making a "complaint", but from reading your review we would certainly want to know about these issues and address them immediately as we would welcome the opportunity to turn your unpleasant experience... My mother, sister and I have made a yearly tradition of visiting the Norwich Inn. If you go there expecting the right things, it is really wonderful. When we go, we stay in a villa. I see a number of negative reviews about the rooms, but this is an old, historic hotel and I imagine that the rooms in the... More

This was my second visit to this property. This second time was with two girlfriends and we had a blast. Our room was spacious ( a little dark however) The Decor is a tad dated but overall clean and well kept. We have nothing but good things to say about the service...Firstly, Robert who greets you at the door is... More

This place is a joke. There is no indoor pool that accomodates children. Rooms are tired and gross. Staff did nothing to reconcile our differences.

My husband and I wanted to plan a renewal of vows ceremony so we could have the wedding we didn't have the chance to have when we officially married. We chose to go to the Spa at Norwich Inn because of its affluent allure-BIG MISTAKE. We chose to check out the establishment by booking their Spa Elopement package-at the time... More

Stayed for the weekend in the main Inn. The property has really nice grounds and we were there on a beautiful weekend so we were able to enjoy being outside. We were a large group and stayed in different types of rooms. We all preferred the main inn. The onsite restaurants had great food but the service was very slow... More

The Norwich Inn and Spa does not have to be an expensive 3 day experience. The facilities for a day visit are superb and I can't think of a better way to spend the day. My recent visit was 4 days after Hurricane Irene swept through the shore line area of CT where I live. It left me without power... More

Again, we planned our Spa Day with the comfortable anticipation for a place which makes us feel at home as much as it does an honored guest. We started with Morning Meditation followed by Yoga, WaterWorks and one of us took Rhythms. In our robe and slippers we dined on the Terrace Deck under the watchful eye of an attentive... More

I just returned from a weekend at the Spa at Norwich Inn. When booking I found rates online significantly cheaper than the rates published on their website so I definitely recommend shopping around for the best price on a room there. We stayed in a "villa," which was really a one bedroom condo-type unit with a kitchenette, living room, and... More
