My husband and I stayed at High Acres for our wedding night, May 18, 2013 and for our anniversary May 18, 2014. We were blown away both times! Peter and Liz are very warm and welcoming and Peter makes a mean breakfast (meaning delicious and classy). The first time we stayed, for our wedding night, we were tired and hungry... More

I stayed one night at High Acres B&B. It has a pleasant rural location, a couple of miles drive from anywhere (which is no bad thing in October, given the scenery). Others have commented on the grounds; I didn't get a chance to explore them because it was just a short stay. Peter and Liz, the owners, were friendly and... More

My husband and I stayed with Peter and Liz just 2 weeks ago. It is an idyllic setting reflecting the North Stonington history and geographic beauty of this slice of Connecticut. We even opted to stay one night longer than we intended. We stayed 6 nights and enjoyed every moment in our very comfortable bed and lovely room. Seeing an... More

I stayed at High Acres on a last minute whim for Labor Day weekend because I could not stand another second of the city. It is exactly what I needed. The horse farm was beautiful. There are field and forest paths for hiking. The air smells sweet and the wild flowers were so pretty. I can imagine that it would... More

High Acres is a terrific farm style B & B that's in a wonderfully quiet location yet close enough to gambling (if you want) and all the Mystic/Mystic Seaport attractions. But it is the hosts that make it so special - Peter, Liz and Molly. Especially Peter who goes so far, way out of his way to be accommodating and... More

My husband and I stayed at High Acres over Labor Day Weekend. We love the Mystic/Stonington area and they happen to have a room available on short notice. The historic house is beautiful and sits on rolling farmland. The bed was extremely comfortable and we were served a wonderful breakfast of yogurt with raspberries and pancakes with bacon. The owners... More

My husband and I stayed here for our trip to foxwoods. The inn is a few miles into the woods but the location was so serene and relaxing we really enjoyed staying here. The inn was nice and our bed was very comfy.. we slept like babies. The grounds were really pretty. We enjoyed taking a walk thru the field... More

I stayed at this place a couple of years ago. Although it looks like a delightful rural site from the internet pictures, it proved a little less than ideal. There wasn't a great deal of walking available on the property itself. The proprietors--as far as I could tell, a male and a female partner--seem to be involved in raising horses... More
