I attended a conference at Foxwoods during the week of February 27th. Unfortunately, Foxwoods was completely sold out for the first night, so I reserved a room at the Hilltop Inn and Suites. Based on the reviews on Trip Advisor, I asked and paid to be upgraded to one of their better rooms (King Suite) to hopefully avoid some of the issues previously posted here. The front desk staff was professional; Crystal was very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. However, that is where my good experience ended.

I checked into the room and immediately noticed that whomever cleaned the room had not spent enough time cleaning. The floor was dirty, the carpet stained, and there were food crumbs between the bed and the side table. In the bathroom, there was a shampoo bottle cap in the shower, hairs on the floor, and the towels looked like they had been used. One of them actually had mascara smears on it.
