Spent a weekend here, surprisingly nice. Staff was super friendly. Cabins were rustic but fine (they are located a little close to the road, but there's a big set of trees that blocks most of then noise). Store sells lots of essentials and there's a market nearby. Plenty of fun things for kids to do including a very cool air... More

This KOA is just off I-95. It's a large campground with the lots to do. The staff was polite but not friendly. Our campsite had a dead tree and the grass needed cut. No shade. The Wi-Fi sucked. The bathhouse was clean but dark. Very pricey. Close to Mystic and a little over an hour to Newport Rhode Island. Probably... More

Don't be deceived, it's actually in N. Stonington, but it's a short drive to Mystic. A great campground, as all KOA's seem to be. Lots of activities for everyone. The bathroom/shower building was kept clean. Very close to I-95, as in you can look over the highway. The tent sites where we were are set away from the road but... More

I'm not sure about the negative reviews. We had a great time. Clean campground. Staff showed us where our site was riding in front of us in golf cart. This was we weren't driving around looking for it. I didn't have any experience with drunks running around. It was our first koa experience and we were very happy with it.... More

This was a great first experience with my family at a KOA. If anything the kids were disappointed that we were seeing the sights and not spending more time at the campground. Most definitely I will tweak the list of what I need to bring and maybe come back next year for a cabin. Overall really great and relaxing and... More

We stayed here last year and gave it 5 stars. The decline in service and standards in one year is amazing and disappointing. Last year they had very senior, experienced staff. This year it seems to be mostly young kids. They are polite and provided good service, but I get a sense they are not able to maintain order in... More

We live in South Eastern CT, so when plans were being made for our annual family reunion, someone suggested the KOA Mystic, on Rte 49 in North Stonington. Several family members rented cabins, some tented, some camped in their RV's. We had 27 people, 11 children under 12, 3 dogs. The cabins were charming - reminded me of an Swiss... More

We enjoy camping at the Mystic KOA. We usually go there at least a couple of times a year; especially for Father's Day. Staff is nice and facilities are clean. Lots of activities for everyone. We like to stay in the safari area with our friends.

We rented a camping cabin for three nights. This KOA is adequate but could be a five with a bit of work. The bathrooms are quite outdated. Also this is the first KOA that did not have a sink to wash the dishes. We have been in KOA's in 39 states on our one year ride across the country and... More

Friendly staff. Looks great for kids with the pool, playgrounds etc. although I don't have any. Neat pancake breakfast on Sundays. Clean baths but no stops in the sink. Half shaved when razor fell down into trap. Funny driving home half shaved.
