Stayed 1 night @ this Motel 6 while we visited Mystic Seaport (about 10 minutes away). I was reluctant to give this place a chance as I wanted to initially do a Bed and Breakfast..anyways I am So GLAD I booked this. It was Clean, no hair in the sink, no foreign objects on comforters or desk. The wood floors... More

This Motel 6 definitely surprised me. The location is great, even though it is next to the highway it is very quiet. Check in was a breeze. Pool is not working but we knew that, the pool look pretty big, too bad it was closed. The rooms are pretty bare which I like there was 2 beds a TV stand... More

My group reserved 2 non-smoking rooms for August 2nd. We chose this hotel because it has a pool. The rooms were basic, the bathtub and shower curtains had cigarette burns on them but it was overall clean. We had 3 problems with this hotel and would not recommend staying there. 1) When we checked in Saturday night, we were told... More

My family was going to stay at this hotel for two nights but had to change our dates to later in the week. When we made the reservation, we were not told about the pool being closed but when we changed our dates and mentioned "we were looking forward to using the pool, we were told it is being repaired!... We stayed here 7/19 because we were in the area for a concert at Mohegan Sun Arena. We booked a King room with a refrigerator & microwave. We arrived, checked in quick by a very friendly young man at the reception desk. We quickly found our rooms, they were very clean, no dust, linens on the bed looked clean &... More

I stayed at this Motel 6 for 8 nights while attending a workshop at Connecticut College. I wasn't crazy about the prospect of dorm life (bathroom down the hall, etc.), so Motel 6 seemed like a good alternative. My review title pretty much sums it up. You get all the basics you need--a bed, a bathroom, a desk/work area, some... More

This place looked like it came straight out of IKEA. It was cheap and relatively clean. I didn't particularly like the handwritten envelope left on the bureau that said "housekeeping tips." I thought about writing "use toothpaste to polish the faucet"... There's a bar and Starbucks within walking distance. We stayed here for a wedding at Harkness Park. It wasn't... More

The room was very clean, which is the most important thing. I have no problems with the cleanliness. But the bed....that left a lot to be desired. We found it lumpy and loud (creaked whenever we moved), and I think the pillows may have been left over from the 1980s -- they were flat and had no support. I also... More

We stayed here as a last minute weekend trip after visiting the casinos. I was a little nervous to stay at a motel but I wasn't dissapointed. The room was not only clean but very modern. The floors were wood "laminate" I think is what they are called. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was sparkling clean. For... More

We stayed at the Motel 6 on May 18 for the Springsteen concert at Mohegan Sun. We booked one night, just for the concert. We arrived around 2 pm and were given our room right away. Reviews are right. There is no hair dryer, iron, safe, coffee maker, refrigerator, shampoo, tissues. None of that mattered to us, we were there... More
