After a recent cruise to Bermuda from New Jersey my wife and I were heading to Cape Cod for a three day stay. This was cut short by car trouble but as often happens a misstep often creates an opportunity. Such was our good fortune when our overnight stay occurred at the Niantic Inn. This quaint old hotel is conveniently located... More

This is a great place to stay, right on the edge of town. Restaurants, shops and beach all within walking distance. 20 mins drive to casino, half hour to mystic village. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Have stayed here many times when coming to visit family. Rooms are large, clean and have all the amenities.

We had a lovely weekend visit in Niantic, Ct. to celebrate our daughter's birthday! We stayed at the Niantic Inn on Main Street. We liked being near the beach and a few good restaurants. The hotel was OK although It had a few problems. First there was a problem with noise! You could hear every step of the people above... More

So I was in Southeastern Connecticut on business for a few months and got to stay at The Niantic Inn, and that was a good thing. Originally I was at a different hotel, wishing that I had a larger room, and a kitchenette, however that was not offered where I was. On a Sunday drive, I found The Niantic Inn... More

We stayed here for the week on June 21 to the following and day and it was a great place to stay. Very clean, the staff was very nice. Conveniently located. We walked across the street to the beach. Best of all it was clean and it smelled nice.

Not overly fancy and a bit dated, but a wonderful location in an interesting seaside town. Clean, comfortable, large rooms. Walking distance to pretty much the entire town and attractively priced. I would definitely stay there again!

We had to make a very last minute trip to Niantic and called several places - some only rented by the week (Morton House), and some were not friendly to kids under 12 (The Inn at Harbor Hill), - and Fourteen Lincoln St. wasn't open until June 14th or so. So with great trepidation, especially after reading the reviews on... More

Not the Ritz, not by a long shot, but the Niantic Inn is a great deal, not only because of the price but because it is right in the middle of a great little town. Because of the great location, you can walk to the beach. You can walk to the restaurants and all of the neat little shops, delis,... More

Convenient location and very friendly staff. If arriving after about 6 pm, be sure to ask where your key will be left as the office is not always open. The room was well sized with a king bed, a large sofa, table, chairs, microwave and small fridge - this was the studio, not the efficiency. Complimentary WiFi provided as well... More

After reading alot about this inn , we finally stayed there. It's not the marriott, but is very nice for a small hotel. Our room was a studio ,very spacious with nice large windows, comfortable. The main draw was location. We parked the car at check-in and didn't start it till check-out. We walked to the beach, the restuarant ,ice cream store... More
