After a two week camping trip and 10 different sites through Maine, Connecticut and Massachusetts, I can honestly say that this was the worst place we stayed. Extremely poor camp site. We were charged 45 dollars for the night, which was the same price we paid for some cracking sites with a pool, play area, games room and a view.... More

The amenities are few. The draw backs are several. Bathrooms are just usable. They charge extra for showers. No sewer hookups. $10 to empty the tanks. About ½ of the sites are supposedly occupied but I have seen few people. $2395 for the high season Memorial Day to Labor Day. It is across the road from Rocky Neck state park,... More

It was a little rough in the beginning getting situated ... The crew where just getting the PArk up and running after a long winter,, We are here for the season,, This campground is rustic oh yes!! Not made for everyone true,, But for my husband and I rate on friendliness and how concern the staff is willing to make... More

This was my first visit to Camp Niantic. It was actually my first camping trip with my boyfriend. We stayed almost 4 days and would have stayed longer if my health was a little bit better. This is the perfect spot for a campground being that it is so close to the local beaches and also to shopping and the... More

This was a convenient place to stop for one night before we took the ferry to Long Island, but I wouldn't have stayed here otherwise. Its facilities are rundown, the roads are rutted, and the trees are untrimmed. We did have good cable TV and WiFi at our site to distract us from the low value offered by this RV... More

This campsite may not be for everyone but it is my new summer escape away from home. My family are now seasonal campers at this cozy, relaxing, kinda old fashioned campground:) I have never really given camping a second though but just wanted to be down in the area close to our boat and the lovely beaches of Niantic. This... More

I saw reviews from other campers but i had to check it out for myself. I came to visit Camp Niantic for the weekend with my two sons 8 and 10. First impression was very nice, It's rustic and cozy. It reminded me of the good old days when I went camping with my mother and my father. It didn't... More

Stayed here July 8-10, wish we had stayed 0.4 miles down the road at rocky neck state park. Camp ground is very run down. Roads are full of rocks and pot holes and ruts. Grass does not appear to have been cut all year. Bath house was filthy..... Talked to some folks who told us that a permanent trailer had... More

I was there this past weekend, all I can say is I most certainly will NOT be going back..the campground was unkept, weeds growing out of control, old RVS everywhere and not to mention the bathrooms were FILTHY. You even have to pay 50 cents to take a 3 minute shower. The playground was old and dirty as well. Not... More

There is something very important about Camp Niantic that everyone should know-It might be in a state of flux, something that needs attending to as soon as possible; it might have travel trailers that have extended their welome, but it also has something that will liken it to a diamond in the rough, a plant that has been left too...
