Next door to the IKEA, its' only a few minutes from Yale campus and the rooms are standard and clean. Nothing to complain about. more

The room was great, wireless, coffee maker, good breakfast, restaurant located inside, good staff...but the heating unit was overly noisy and the toilet flushing was noisy also. Outside of that, it is a bargain - good location and clean. more

The hotel is located right next to IKEA off I-95 and the rear parking area connects with an older industrial area. I started to question the safety of the area when I saw a Security Officer inspecting each vehicle in the hotel parking lot. The front desk staff was friendly and check-in was very quick. My head almost touched the... more

The La Quinta is a basic hotel that is literally right off I-95. It has a bar and restaurant as well as a pool. I didn't use the pool, but it looked clean. The fitness room is cardio only. The hotel rooms were a decent size and clean. This hotel is good for business travelers or people on a long... more

I stayed here last week while driving from MD to ME with my 22-month old daughter. We checked in very late at night after a harrowing day of driving. I had carried our things from the car to the lobby, a mistake as I'm 6 months pregnant and was also carrying my little girl. The girl at the front desk... more

I stayed at the La Quinta for one night this month while attending a wedding shower and bachelorette party for a good friend. I was driving from Boston, and chose this hotel for the location (close to the highway and the party location) and the rate - $69 for a Saturday night. The hotel was no frills, but I was... more

I needed to go to New Haven for a quick overnight so I was looking for a hotel near the highway and the train station. I read some reviews which said La Quinta was clean but, the bathroom was pretty gross. There was dried urine on the seat and hair of all sorts on the bathroom floor. The TV stand... more

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights to visit a friend who lives nearby. The whole hotel smelled smoky, although it seemed that efforts were made to cover the odor. As we enterde the front door there were people hanging out in front and we walked trough a cloud of smoke. I am guessing that this hotel was once... more

Overall good stay at this hotel. Looked recently renovated hallways. Quiet, surprisingly roomy, and clean room on 7th floor. New bed mattresses. Clean bathroom. Despite the room facing the I-95, it was quiet. One big negative -- noisy A/C-heater unit. Free breakfast was marginal. Breakfast staff busy chatting and didn't really care to replenish the foods. It is about 10... more
