I stay here every time I'm in New Haven. Always dependable. Clean, comfortable, big rooms. Very efficient and friendly check-in staff. Nicely re-done lobby with booth seating. Starbucks in lobby provides standard fare for breakfast.

We stayed here the weekend of April 11, 2015, and they had had both elevators break down, but one was up and running when we arrived. This meant a little longer wait to get to our 7th floor room and sometimes a packed elevator, but wasn't terribly inconvenient beyond that. Our room key became inactive twice and we needed to... It's frustrating when a hotel blindsides you at check-in with a $23 (including tax) parking charge that they failed to disclose during the reservation process (and that wasn't mentioned anywhere in the reservation confirmation), but doubling that charge to $46 and making me wait and the desk to get it fixed was really not ok. Good location but just not... More

The staff was very pleasant, but the housekeeper forgot to replenish the coffee maker supplies so we had to go to the front desk for cups, but it wasn't a big deal. Our room faced the street, so if noise bothers you, ask for a room on the back side away from Whalley St. There must be a hospital nearby... More

I was on the fourth floor. The room was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable. I ate at the bar, and it was perfectly fine given that it was late and I was tired. Lobby had been updated in the new Courtyard style. Staff was very helpful, and ordered me a cab for early the next morning. Only advice I... More

Hello, Thank you for providing feedback regarding your most recent stay with us. Unfortunately, road noise is something that is beyond our control, as we are located downtown on the Yale campus. We have taken the steps to ensure our rooms are well insulated, resulting in minimal impact from the noise of the city. We are delighted to know that... More

Good place to stay in New Haven for business and very close to Yale. Off-street parking a plus. Room was nice and well appointed for business. Only negative was cheap or worn towels. Very thin - more like I'd expect in a 2-star motel. Staff was nice and did a great job except for bartender in the evening. Sat down... More

My appreciation for this hotel is growing. It is convenient to events on the central campus of Yale University. They keep adding to the amenities in the lobby - including a breakfast area, gas fireplace, bar, several different seating areas, a business center right in front, happy hour hors d'oeuvres, all with updated colors and surfaces. I haven't eaten at... More

First, and foremost, the staff here are fabulous! Very helpful and portray excellent customer service. The hotel and room was clean and quite comfortable. The lobby and bistro area have the comforts of home. There is a courtyard that looks inviting...unfortunately I stayed during the blizzard. The hotel is conveniently located to shops, excellent restaurants and right by Yale. The... More

We stayed here for Parent's weekend at Yale in October and were very pleased with everything about the hotel except the linens. New towels that are not small and rough would do a lot for the impression made by this otherwise convenient and well-run hotel.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff were friendly and quite informative. They provided me a map, considering this was my first time in beautiful new haven. The bartender was helpful in recommending places to eat or grab a drink.
