Stayed here over Yale graduation. The room was updated and was quite a comfortable stay. Room was large and felt like it was recently updated. Unlike other reviewers, I had no complaints with the bathroom. The toiletries (Paul Mitchell) seemed nicer than other Courtyard properties. Because it was graduation weekend, there was complimentary snacks in the evening (actually wrapped sandwiches,... More

I don't know why all the so-so reviews, this actually is a very nice place. Good parking-but costs $18 per day. Wonderfully helpful staff at front desk. lobby was nice, updated, bistro cafe with bar. Outside courtyard. Halls clean, updated. Rooms updated clean, nice bathroom amenities. I was upgraded to free to a 6th floor room facing back of building.... More

This Courtyard is in a convenient location for Yale visits but not too sure about the overall area. The hotel staff said there were "wonderful" resturaunts within walking distance (3 - 4 blocks). As a business person traveling alone, not too sure I would walk 3 -4 blocks in any direction, especially after dark. The drive to the hotel went... More

I actually had a very nice stay, here. To start the whole experience off on the right foot, Michelle at the front desk was very helpful when I called to reserve a small group of rooms during a busy weekend (Yale commencement). The front desk folks were very welcoming on arrival. The room was in was nice and the public/lobby... More

I was quite surprised to see this hotel tucked away on the main street of New Haven at Yale. This hotel is camouflaged between pizzarias, cothing stores and across the street from a University with a lot of history behind it. The medium size driveway makes it fairly easy to park in front of the door of the hotel which... More

Stayed here for business am a rewards member and enjoy the Marriott chain. The rooms were clean but the bathrooms were dated. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. The biggest drawback was the expense of parking, $18.00/day and the noise from the road. More

We really only stay here because we really have to. I hate to say that since we're Marriott Rewards members and really LOVE the chain, but this property is very average. Nothing spectacular about it, aside from the location. The bathroom in the rooms really needs updating... very blahhhh.... The head board in the room we most recently got appeared... More

This property and rooms are fine, clean and comfortable, nothing extraordinary. But the reservation system IS extraordinary - the worst we have ever encountered! This is MARRIOTT. Why can't they process your reservation and have your room ready when you book in advance? We have family in the area and have stayed here on multiple occasions because it's clean and... More

We recently visited Yale University and wanted to stay close to campus. We chose this hotel for its proximity to campus. It was by no means luxurious, but it served the purpose. Check in was harried, the room was adequate, but had a terrible view. The street got noisy early and stayed noisy late. Parking was strange and expensive. Next... More

Stayed for just one night. Visiting friends studying at Yale. Hotel is not close to the train station - took around 25 minutes to walk, however there is plenty of shopping and food near by. Room was clean, check in staff were polite and efficient. Gave us an area map and recommendations. More
