I loved my stay at The Study. They people who work there are terrific-- helpful, enthusiastic, sincere, and friendly. It is a modern small hotel, hip in a way but not at all pretentious. It just has a young, friendly vibe, mostly because of the staff. They were very helpful, and seemed genuinely interested in talking with guests. Several of... more

I can't report any complaints about The Study. It was a brief stay - only 2 nights - but it was pleasant. Location is a plus, near restaurants and shops, and the service I received was perfect. In the evening it actually gave me the vibe of the W Hotel chain (the music and lighting). The computer in the lobby... more

Spectacular service, food, ambiance. A wonderful and welcome addition to New Haven. As I drove up looking for the hotel, I was directed to a private garage, helped out of the car and welcomed into the hotel. As I entered the beautiful lobby, I was personally greeted by staff who directed me to the front desk and elevator to The... more

The rooms are large, wonderfully designed and well thought out on the edge of Yale. Long desk width of room by window. Plug ins for all. Bottled water (not PC but nice) . good blinds Great toiletries in bathroom (only a shower so a bit of a negative if you prefer baths which I don't ). Wonderful roomy design. Staff... more

I stayed here during a one day whirlwind trip to New Haven and was delighted. My room was on the top floor and had a lovely view overlooking the Yale campus. The rooms are good for relaxing, working and sleeping. The service was impeccable -- I thought I had lost something in my room and even after I had checked... more

Check in was quick and easy, room was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and accomodating. We didn't do the valet service but since we were there over the weekend parking on the street was free. The signs said that on Saturday you had to pay for certain hours but the staff said weekends were usually ok and we were... more

Me and my wife stayed at the Study Hotel in New Haven CT and it was truly amazing! New Haven has needed an upscale hotel like this for soooo many years. The lobby and restaurant areas have hardwood floors, comfortable furniture, great music throughout the hotel. The restaurant Heirloom has a great bar and the food was super. My hotel... more

We loved the Study at Yale! We only stayed there one night while visiting Yale's campus. Location is wonderful, right across the street from Yale's art building, on pedestrian-friendly Chapel street, which has good restaurants (plenty of Thai eateries, the one next door is excellent). We really appreciated the Study's indoor valet parking (we were there during and after a... more

The Study at Yale is quite a gift to the Yale and New Haven community. While on business recently, I stayed one night at the hotel. Not only was I greeted by a dapper looking gentleman at the door ( this was part of their service) but check-in/out was sweet and simple. The lounge area was a very modern, yet... more

I recently stayed at the Study Hotel in New Haven this past week and had the most incredible stay. I was blown away by the impeccable service. The doorman greeted me when I approached the entrance and immediately offered to assist me with my luggage. My car was parked by the hotel's valet service. Before I even approached the desk... more
