Rooms were fine and impressive, servive very good. The restaurant was OK and makes a big play of its local sourcing which I like, but the food simply not good enough considering the premium price - ingredients were good but there was no real finesse. My scallops were undercooked and served on a strange bed of what- some vegertable goo?... More

We had a great weekend stay at the Study at Yale. The room was was comfortable, beautifully designed with a view of Yale. The Heirloom restaurant and bar were sensational--great local menu and a number of signature drinks. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive.

This modern, well located boutique hotel provides excellent proximity to the Yale campus. The rooms were well appointed, but the closets were very small (we were in town for a wedding and had more than our usual amount of hanging clothes). The beds were very comfortable and the amenities were fun (lots of pencils). The best feature: the welcoming staff... More

The staff were excellent and very responsive. Room clean and tasteful but a tad on the small side with only a desk chair to sit in. Great workspace and plenty of power outlets. Restaurant very good - great tomato soup but grilled cheese almost all bread. The only real complaint was the noise outside of the hotel. This is a... More

This is a remarkably comfortable and tasteful hotel in the centre of New Haven on the Yale campus. Service is courteous, the rooms very large and beautifully designed. The restaurant serves excellent food and is pleasant. A good deal of attention is paid to details and little extras. This leaves nothing to be desired.

Beautifully designed small hotel on the Yale campus. Contemporary, comfortable, stylish, and superb staff -- this hotel has it all. The lobby area has several comfy lounge areas which can be used from morning till night. The Heirloom restaurant and bar within the hotel are sensational -- with outstanding selection of wines and food. And the staff is top-notch. From... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Study. It is very conveniently located near Yale. The staff were very nice and helpful. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. In the lobby they have free morning coffee and tea and also there are yogurts and other items available for purchase. There are ginger cookies and Granny Smith apples... More

What a great find this boutique hotel is! We stayed here for 5 nights and we loved our room with a small study at the side which made the room feel so homely. The staff was excellent with their service and ever ready to please. I was even given a complimentary cup of tea even though I offered to pay... More

Wow what a beautiful hotel. We came here as a stopover on our way to New York, mainly to visit the Yale campus and what a marvellous choice this was. It was a short taxi ride from the train station and right on the fringe of the old campus. We had a king study suite which had a separate office... More

No problems, one night only, lovely hotel. Staff seemed to be ready to help out at all costs - holding umbrellas for guests to board shuttles to wedding, very welcoming at reception, and very friendly staff throughout the hotel saying "hello" and "good morning" with a smile. Super clean nice rooms, if a bit boring and a little too "nice".... More
