I love this hotel. I travel to New Haven quite often to do research at the Beinecke library and this is where I always stay. Knowing I will be treated so well always makes me look forward to my trips even more. I highly recommend this spot for a gratifying experience.

This is a very nice boutique hotel. It is well located for the Yale University campus. Staff are friendly and efficient. My room in the 7th floor was spacious, clean and with a nice design. Small wardrobe and bathroom, but a very large desk by the window (which is great when you need to work). I did not find the... More

I stayed on October 4th, 2014, in the King Room. I believe the bed was the most comfortable I've slept on in my life. I got there at six o'clock and parked on the street five footsteps from the entrance to the Study At Yale. I was able to avoid valet parking altogether. I didn't have to even figure out... More

I love this hotel. It is extremely convenient to events at Yale, the staff at the front desk greets me warmly every time I return and grab a ginger cookie right away. I love the clean, modern decor, sandblasted glass, blond oak wood, and all. When I arrive, I unpack right away, using the luggage rack and generous drawers to... More

Junk hotel and not worth spending your money on! Beds so small one person cannot fit in it. No room to even put suitcase down and open it. Have to close bathroom door to open room door to hall. No bath tub in room; shower only. No shelf in bathroom for vanity/shaving bag; you have to sit your bag on... More

Rooms were fine and impressive, servive very good. The restaurant was OK and makes a big play of its local sourcing which I like, but the food simply not good enough considering the premium price - ingredients were good but there was no real finesse. My scallops were undercooked and served on a strange bed of what- some vegertable goo?... More

We had a great weekend stay at the Study at Yale. The room was was comfortable, beautifully designed with a view of Yale. The Heirloom restaurant and bar were sensational--great local menu and a number of signature drinks. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive.

This modern, well located boutique hotel provides excellent proximity to the Yale campus. The rooms were well appointed, but the closets were very small (we were in town for a wedding and had more than our usual amount of hanging clothes). The beds were very comfortable and the amenities were fun (lots of pencils). The best feature: the welcoming staff... More

The staff were excellent and very responsive. Room clean and tasteful but a tad on the small side with only a desk chair to sit in. Great workspace and plenty of power outlets. Restaurant very good - great tomato soup but grilled cheese almost all bread. The only real complaint was the noise outside of the hotel. This is a... More
