Stayed here 7/2/09 and had a great stay. Front desk very helpful, she advised on food and we ordered Chinese and had it delivered, it was very good. The room was large and very clean. No problems at all. Very good breakfast ie, the usual from La Quinta.Senior rate was very affordable. Location off I 84 a bit but not... more

Came here after a bad experience with Knight's Inn in nearby Southington in which we left after 10 minutes (see review) and were pleasantly surprised right from the moment we stepped into the spacious front-desk / lounge area at La Quinta. The staff was friendly and helpful and the place feels well maintained and pleasant The beds were above average,... more

Found this hotel by chance online. I read some reviews and thought I would take the chance. Was glad I did. Stayed here for three nights, while visiting some attractions in the area. This hotel is clean, well maintained, quiet, can't say enough about it. Check in was fast, the room was large, and nice. One of the best features... more

This is a perfectly fine place to stay if you want to be in this location. Rooms are small but well appointed and clean. Same goes for the bathroom. Very well maintained in general. There was a rather unpleasant odor in the hallways - like old socks! Carpet might need a good cleaning, although it looked fine. And the restaurant,... more

La Quinta is a very clean and well presented hotel. The staff are excellent and so helpful. The rooms are clean and nicely furnished. The rooms were cleaned everyday with fresh towels. Breakfast was good. Shame the restaurant was closed. The only criticism was the air conditioning was so noisy. but was a necessity as the weather was so hot.... more

We're busines owners in town who got stuck due to a snowstorm. Pleasant surprise! Have known this hotel since it opened years ago as a Howard Johnson's. The latest owners have spent considerable time and thought into renovations...very clean, plesant staff...great bargain for the money. The heating system is a tad noisy, but that could be overlooked considering our reason... more

Got stranded in a fast moving snow storm and decided to stay in New Britain rather than travel the remaining 25 miles home. I grew up in New Britain and have known this hotel since it was built. It is still listed as a Days Inn on the web for New Britain, but it is MUCH improved with the recent... more

Stayed here because it was convenient to the end of a long day on the road (family vacation) and pet-friendly. This is a large multi-story property in what seems the middle of downtown New Britain. The staff was pleasant, the room was large and clean and the breakfast buffet was plentiful. The elevator was baulky - sometimes didn't want to... more
