After traveling on 95 from NJ to CT for what seems like hours, we arrived at the Inn & was pleasantly surprised! Just in time for happy hour on a spacious deck that overlooked the seaport. It was very relaxing! Our room had a fireplace & was quaint & clean. We were in town for a graduation, so only enjoyed... More

Having last stayed here about 15 years ago, I had forgotten how charming the Inn at Mystic is. The rooms are extremely spacious, many with Jacuzzi tubs and/or balcony and/or working wood burning fireplaces. Tastefully decorated, and the 2 things I crave most-a comfortable bed and a good shower! There is a decent restaurant on site that serves a nice... More

We picked this place due to its history (Bogart and Bacall honeymooned here). It's. It really a big deal but being a huge fan, I didn't want to stay anywhere else. The place is quaint and has a vintage feel to it. The wallpaper was crazy and I loved it. We had a lovely view of the water and the... More

We had a waterview room with a great balcony. Made for some wonderful morning coffee and evening cocktails. The restaurant had great food, just a terrible wait staff. During brunch, it took 35 minutes to get pancakes and an omelet. Our waitress vanished and did not come by the table. Dinner that same night, nearly 30 minutes for wings and... More

We spent one night here in order to see the Mystic Seaport and the Aquarium. It turns out that the downtown area, nearby, is also worth a visit -- very pretty, with quaint shops including a wonderful, large bookstore! Our room was spacious, with a jacuzzi and a working fireplace, with wood available just outside the door. Everything was clean... More

Centrally located, beautiful piece of property up on the hill. Motel portion of the property room very outdated dark, musty smelling, stained mattress. We booked through a booking site and as they say you get what you pay for. And for a discounted price it was not worth $100.00 a night ! On a positive note on property resturant very... More

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Inn at Mystic. Our room was clean, and efficient, and the restaurant was great. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, and had our coffee on our own balcony. Would return here again.

Had seen this for years and stayed in May and it's a quaint little place. Wonderful bar/ restaurant. Great happy hour drinks and eats. $1 oysters. Seems to be the place for locals. Close to downtown mystic and close to seaport and aquarium. Would surely stay again!!

We arrived on the train from Boston, and had an easy walk to the hotel's driveway - then dragged our bags up a short, but quite steep slope to reception - not a problem for those arriving by car. The check in staff were friendly, informal and efficient, and our room was nearby. The room was very clean, old-fashioned in... More

My wife and I stayed at the inn for a one-night getaway. It filled the bill nicely. Our room wasn't the most luxurious or modernized, but for the money ($130), it was a buy. The inn is located right across from a Long Island sound inlet, and we had a room with a balcony overlooking the water. The room was... More
