We were caught out with no where to stay en route to Cape Cod - The tourist board recommended we chance ringing the Taber Inn - we got the last room on a busy weekend so we were glad we had somewhere to stay. The staff and owner were great - very accommodating , the room was clean and the... More

We stayed here just one night on 9/1/11. We arrived one day after the power had been restored from Hurricane Irene. The place was practically empty, because reservations had been canceled due to the hurricane. The Inne is extremely neat and clean, and everyone was very polite and very helpful to us, teling us which parts of Mystic had power... More

We stayed in a townhouse with two bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, a full living room, dining room and kitchen (no stove, just microwave), first and second floor deck. It was perfect for our 3 generations. Staff was very friendly, room and grounds were very clean and fresh and the continental breakfast was plentiful. In addition, the location puts... More

This was a last minute addition to our trip and it was very nice. The two bedroom unit was large - plenty of space - but not "luxurious". It was fine for our family. The full size fridge was nice. The kids loved the indoor pool, and there were always pool toys to play with. There is a nice restaurant... More

The Taber Inne and Suites is a family owned inn with close proximity to downtown as well as the major area attractions. We were extremely happy with the service. The staff are uncommonly nice and very knowleable about the area. The accomodations are immaculately clean and comfortable. We had a room with a fireplace and jacuzzi tub, and a nice... More

Ask for the suites and you will be delightfully surprised with a canopy bed, lace edged sheets a spa with whirlpool tub and shower. Pleasant staff, quiet area, handy to lots of sights. A RELAXING place to stay.

A New England gem, the Taber Inne is reasonably priced and the indoor pool is beautiful. A 2-acre compound consisting of motel rooms, suites and townhouses, the place is immaculately clean, quaint, and a short drive to Mystic’s action spots (downtown, the Seaport and the Aquarium), which are not all that close to each other. Spry Irish octogenarian Maggie runs... More

Clean room, decent location, but quite dated and in need of a substantial upgrade. The room, while apparently recently painted, was pristinely preserved top to bottom from the 1970s. No question hard to make the financial investment to do the work needed, but the Taber Inn does charge market rates. While everyone was pleasant and friendly, it is not what... More

If you are heading to Mystic and would like to stay in a very clean and comfortable place, I would recommend the Taber Inne. The Inne is family run and quite comfortable. Every staff member was friendly and courteous. It is centrally located to downtown Mystic and the seaport/aquarium (about a 5 minute car ride) and within walking distance of... More

I can not say enough good things about the Tabor Inn. The location was perfect, between Mystic and Old Stonington. The rooms were spotless and the staff so helpful, recomending places to dine, visit and shop. Three "girls" spent an enjoyable weekend get away here. Located about 2 miles from both Mystic and Stonington Village it made for an ideal... More
