We stayed at the Econo Lodge this pat weekend in Mystic, CT. The price was unbeatable! It is in the perfect location near all the must see attractions plus close to Foxwoods Casino. Mystic Diner, Friendly's, and Steak Loft are all in walking distance. Mystic Village and the Aquarium are in walking distance. The Seaport and downtown are only a... More

We stayed here once before about 4 or 5 years and promised we would never stay here again. However we decided to go to Foxwoods last minute and new we would need place to sleep for 8 hours and chose to stay here based on price and know we were only going to be using the room to sleep. They... More

It's in a great location and the Wi-Fi works well other than that the hotel is sort of run down and needs a lot of maintenance. The maintenance that was done looked like it was done by a child. The bathroom we had was huge but had no counter space. It had a sink top(which was falling apart)and that was... More

My husband and I find ourselves in Mystic quite often and we always stay at this Econolodge. It is always clean, the staff is friendly and accomodating and the pool large, private and crystal clear...Rates do get expensive on Friday, Saturday but are in line with others in the area. The location is great.Having a microwave and fridge is also... More

We needed a room on short notice for a Saturday night, and we needed a place that would accept a small dog. That's why we stayed here. The room was not only tired looking, it had a heavy chemical smell as if they had just done an industrial cleaning of the carpeting. The carpeting outside the bathroom was damp. There... More

Most of the Econo Lodges I have stayed in were basically the same. Not updated, and dingy. We were fortunate to find this one at least clean. Nothing special here. No breakfast, small bathroom, low pressure shower. My kids complained the bed was uncomfortable, but I didn't have a problem. The porta crib was old and one side wouldn't completely... More

Tired hotel, stained carpet and towel, moldy ceiling in the bathroom. Room was stuffy. Had the usual amenities, but they were in a worn out looking room. No breakfast. It was hard to pay such a high price for such an unbelievably crummy accommodation. Price gauging at its best. Wouldn't stay here again.

This motel was okay for the price - somewhat dated and dingy, but clean. Would probably try to find something else in the area next time. The draw for us was that we were attending a dog show in the area and they accept pets for a nominal fee.

For the price I was charged I was given a room reserved for "pet owners" which had a visible mold problem; the second room was better, but both rooms had mold issues. For the amount of money that this hotel charges and the condition of the rooms something needs to be done about the mold issues. The first room had... More

Clean, quiet, comfortable mattress, good wifi signal, and very friendly staff. The breakfast was a nice surprise, especially at the price. When I missed the breakfast one morning, the front desk clerk was happy to get me the requested items from the back. I plan to stay here on our next trip to Mystic. :D
