As a Brit travelling on business but looking for something more homely than a soulless hotel, I came across this interesting bed & breakfast. Surrounded by forest, yet just minutes from Mystic town and the I95, Brigadoon is perfectly located for anyone visiting this enchanting area or travelling further afield. Much of the property is original and maintains its historical... More

We first went to Brigadoon for Christmas in 2001, we go to Mystic often and will not consider anyplace else. The owners, Kay and Ted, make everybody feel like family. Beyond that, the grounds, decor, and amenities such as the excellent breakfasts, the set ups in the common area throughout the day and the proximity to downtown Mystic, make Brigadoon an... More

We spent 1 night at Brigadoon of Mystic and we recommend it to anyone who wants a nice, warm family oriented place . The owner is VERY nice and accommodating. Room and bathroom were clean and the breakfast that was served was made by the order. It is just a short drive from the old city.

We were here one night for a stop over on our way to Maine. The host and hostess were very pleasant and accommodating. The room was adequate and the bed was very comfortable It was very close to the Olde Mystic Village which we thought was nice, We ate at the Blue Squid for lunch and had a good lobster... More

My daughter and I spent two days and nights in Mystic this summer. We didn't want to stay in a hotel, so instead we chose this B&B. We made a great choice! Ted and Kay operate a very cozy place and they make you feel like you are family as soon as you enter. The inn is clean and charming... More

A rustic 250 year old farmhouse 16 miles from Mohegan Sun, 11 miles from Foxwoods and 1 mile to Mystic. One comes here for the outstanding personal service from Kay and Ted. As hosts they were warm, welcoming and helpful. They even let us use their kitchen to prepare the oysters that we had bought. Ted is usually in overalls... More

Want to stay with family while visiting Mystic ??? then Brigadoon is the place to go. Owners Ted & Kay Lucas have created a warm and friendly atmosphere which makes you feel like you are coming home as soon as you walk through the front door of this 250 year old farm house. The owners could not be friendlier or... More

Stayed at the Brigadoon for 2 nights while in town for a wedding. My wife and I love to stay at B&B’s when traveling. In all our B&B stays I would rate this as our worst. We found the room to be very dirty. In fact a previous guest had written the words “DUST ME” in the dust on top... More

We were very impressed with our stay in the Brigadoon B&B. The owners were friendly and very eager to help us. They have hundreds of copies of National Geographic magazines, which we enjoyed reading in the few minutes we had spare at the end of the day. I would certainly recommend them to anyone who asked - the breakfasts were... More

Stayed at the Brigadoon for one night in July. It was a cozy B&B that was closely located to downtown Mystic and the Seaport (maybe 10 mins by car). The innkeepers were very accomodating and friendly. We stayed on a room on the first floor and it was spacious and very clean. Bathroom also large with plenty of room. No... More
