We went for one weekend in mid-November. It's an easy and convenient drive from Boston. The service at check-in was fantastic, warm and friendly. We had a corner room on the third floor of the main building, very comfortable. The building is older, and the floors are settling, so the room seemed to slant a bit, but that's fine with... More

Mystic provided a fantastic break from hectic Manhattan. The whalers inn is well located, chintzy but very homely. its well located for the town being at the heart of the boutique shops and eateries that cluster either side of the bridge. I had a queen suite which was packed with antiquiy furniture giving it a really quaint feel. a fantastic... More

We arrived at Mystic near the end of our foliage trip and it was a great ending to our trip. We followed Lonely Planet's advice and were not disappointed. The room at the Whaler's Inn was a bit pricey ($175 + tax) but very lovely and had great views of the bridge, a romantic fireplace, cozy bed and huge bathroom.... More

While on a sightseeing tour of New England, came across lovely Mystic and decided to stay the night. We fould the Whaler's Inn to be clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. The hotel is within walking distance of many shops, retaurants and bars. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was kind of blah, but that's not we came for... More

We stayed here for 2 nights 19/20th October in 1865 House, room 10. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was basic but adequate. The staff were very helpful. It is in a good central location with restaurants in walking distance and has it's own bar and restaurant. I would recommend a stay here in Mystic.

First time at the Whaler's Inn and we will definitely come back for a weekend gataway. Our room was at the Hoxie House, RM 62 and we had a great view of the draw bridge, water and Main St. All the shops, restaurants were within walking distance. The room was great...for the limited time we were actually in our room.... More

My husband & I stayed here for a long weekend in the fall. It was terrific! We stayed in one of the larger rooms with the fireplace. The room was wonderful! We did not call upon the staff at all, but the location was great. We walked to dinners and to the shops. Couldn't have asked for more.

Very nice Inn, a few step from the drawbridge on the main drag, and walkable to the Seaport. There are four buidlings, so not sure on the other three, but the Main building was great. We had a 2nd floor corner room. It was nicely decorated, and clean. The A/C unit worked fine, and the windows open up when it's... More

It was such a pleasure to read your review of the Inn. Thank you for sharing your experience with others. We appreciate the kind words. If you would like to email the room number you stayed in, I would like to personally check the mattress as soon as possible so other guests do not have the same situation. Thank you... More

Stayed here on the way to Cape Cod from NY for one night and again on the return journey. Not luxurious but fine for a stop off. Simple accomodation and could do with a bit of updating on the decor in the rooms. Clean enough but the bathroom in our 2nd room was incredibly small, only room for one person... More

We originally had reservation at The Hyatt in Mystic for the night because everything else was sold out. But upon arrival in Mystic we realized The Hyatt was a little off the beaten path. We decided to drive into town and see if we had any other options. The Whalers Inn had a vacancy sign on display so I ran... More
