The showers are made to fit stick figures in them, if I was 50 lbs and 5'10" it would have been tight, the rest of the room is good but they need to redo the showers. The location is great and the staff very helpful.

Thank you for taking a moment to leave a review from your stay last January. I was pleased to hear the staff and location was helpful. We pride ourselves on offering superb service to our guests. In regards to your shower, I apologize that the size was too small. Since January we did renovate many of our bathrooms to include... More

Stayed here for a 2-day visit with a friend. The location could not be better - we walked to virtually everything. Room was very comfortable with a very large bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent - not your average continental breakfast! Will definitely stay here again! Only downside was a somewhat inconsistent WiFi signal in Stonington House.

I certainly wanted to “thank you” for taking a moment to leave such a positive review. Our location is undoubtedly fantastic. Parking your car here at the Inn and walking the lovely downtown streets with its numerous shops and restaurants truly sets us apart. I appreciate you complementing our breakfast and the comfortable room with large bathroom. In regards to... More

I got a groupon for The Whaler's Inn and booked a quick weekend getaway with my better half. I had looked at reviews for this hotel and it got good reviews but their was one recurring complaint about this location, the beds. I figured, what the hell I got a great deal with the groupon and went ahead and booked.... More

My husband and I recently spent 3 nights at the Whaler's Inn in Mystic. The location of this hotel is perfect. We parked our car and walked everywhere. The Inn is an historic hotel with its own charm. Our room, No. 20, was large with a nice seating area. The bath was small, but adequate and clean. I would not... More

We have stayed here many times in the past. Have stayed in so many different rooms over the years. Love the place. It's location is perfect. Park the car and walk the town! This time we stayed in the newly renovated Stonington House. The room was large, 2 very comfortable queen beds. The linens were wonderful and the bathroom was... More

Mystic is lovely. The location of The Whaler's Inn is great, walking distance from the town and many shops and a short drive from other seafaring communities. The hotel is overpriced for the amenities. We stayed 2 nights over Columbus Day weekend. We had a nice stay but probably will not return.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of the Inn. I am happy to hear that the location of the Inn was convenient for you. It really is superb! The Whaler's Inn was a lovely surprise. Really comfortable room (#4), beds were just right, new carpet, fittings & linen. The bathroom was beautiful (subway tiles, amazing pedestal vanity & huge shower with excellent shower head (great pressure). Staff are friendly & greeted us with a map & list of suggested eateries to try. The bar next door (Bravo Bravo)... More

The Whalers Inn is very cute and quaint. The staff were all great. The rooms are exactly as described. Try not to expect a modern hotel! Floors are slanted; the rooms are far from sound proof; washrooms are ...cozy; beds aren't!; breakfast is very standard for a continental with the exception of great coffee. You absolutely can not beat the... More
