We just stayed there this past weekend, it was cozy and we stayed with friends from a wedding party so loved having the common room for drinks and food after the reception... the next day they brought the mimosas and nice pastry it was delicious... We also did not get a bottle of wine, but the other rooms did so... More

The bad first - This old mansion is run by the Marriott (just next to it) and not run very well – very poor Marriott service. It took us about 20 minutes to work out that you’ve to go into the Marriott to check in and get your keys. Every room is meant to get a bottle of wine but... More

We had a one night stay on October 10th in Lucy's Parlour and the room was very nice, old and very traditional, all of which we expected. We had no wine on arrival despite this being advertised and despite the fact that crackers and cheese were left out in the Common Room no wine was provided.

Thanks to Trip Advisor we knew to go across the parking lot to the Residence Inn to check in (there is no sign to that effect). We were told that while this is not part of the Marriott (no points and other Marriott loyalty perks) we were given a Marriott key that let us into their pool and fitness facilities... More

Hello Ellie B, Thank you for your review of the Whitehall Mansion Inn. We appreciate your feedback and are continually looking to improve the experience for our guests. We will be looking into creating signage that directs guests to the Residence Inn front desk for check in. The wide plank floors are original to the home which was constructed in... More

Reviews do help, and by reading one of the reviews before booking this B&B it helped us find it when we arrived. It is in the car park of the Residence Marriott- which is where you have to check in. The mansion is not very large, so it does contradict its meaning…but with that said, it was a lovely experience.... More

This is a very pretty old house strangely located in the parking lot of the Marriott. You check in at the Marriott and breakfast is available there. You can also use the pool. The room was quaint and nicely furnished with antiques and a canopied bed, lots of old wood details and wide floorboards. We stayed in the wheelchair accessible... More

Has the potential to be amazing! Unfortunately we shared the house with the loudest, drunk, inconsiderate housemates. We honestly almost had to call the police at 4 am bc we thought someone was in danger. You can hear everything.... Light sleepers beware. Would be great to rent out with a group (as in the entire mansion). We also felt the... More

Photographs for Whitehall Mansion can be deceiving but that isn't necessarily a bad thing for travelling. While photos do a good job of presenting otherwise, this is a Historic B&B that is essentially feet away from (and managed by) a Marriot Hotel on the outskirts of Mystic town centre, close to the highway. Nevertheless, our recent stay was very enjoyable.... More

This c. 1771 house with 5 bedrooms and a fireplace common room provided a great night's sleep. We stayed in Lucy's Parlour with a lovely queen sized canopy bed that gave us the best night's sleep in a long time. The whirlpool tub in the large bathroom was a joy to relax in. Since it was July the air conditioning... More

Whitehall Mansion is an intimate stop adjacent to the Residence Inn. There are five rooms with a community living room, coffee, snacks and gas fireplace downtstairs. I enjoyed our stay, although the rooms only had standard-def TV channels on a sort of small flat panel TV.
