Has the potential to be amazing! Unfortunately we shared the house with the loudest, drunk, inconsiderate housemates. We honestly almost had to call the police at 4 am bc we thought someone was in danger. You can hear everything.... Light sleepers beware. Would be great to rent out with a group (as in the entire mansion). We also felt the... More

Photographs for Whitehall Mansion can be deceiving but that isn't necessarily a bad thing for travelling. While photos do a good job of presenting otherwise, this is a Historic B&B that is essentially feet away from (and managed by) a Marriot Hotel on the outskirts of Mystic town centre, close to the highway. Nevertheless, our recent stay was very enjoyable.... More

This c. 1771 house with 5 bedrooms and a fireplace common room provided a great night's sleep. We stayed in Lucy's Parlour with a lovely queen sized canopy bed that gave us the best night's sleep in a long time. The whirlpool tub in the large bathroom was a joy to relax in. Since it was July the air conditioning... More

Whitehall Mansion is an intimate stop adjacent to the Residence Inn. There are five rooms with a community living room, coffee, snacks and gas fireplace downtstairs. I enjoyed our stay, although the rooms only had standard-def TV channels on a sort of small flat panel TV.

I saw the negative reviews about the Mansion but I like to make my own decisions and I was happy I stayed here. I stayed in Lucy's Parlour and it was a quaint and comfortable room with a queen sized pillow top bed, large and modernized bathroom and beautiful fireplace. It's located directly off I-95 and busy Rte 27 in... More

Just so you know, the mansion house has physically been moved and now sits in the parking lot of the Marriott hotel. But don't let that deter you. As soon as you step inside you are transported back in time. It's a cozy little place and a delight to stay in for a few nights. The price was so affordable.... More

Below you will see mixed reviews about this place. We booked our stay here anyway hoping for the best. We were not disappointed! In our opinion this place is the best of both worlds. The B&B is quaint and has alot of charm. We were really looking for a place to stay that offered more than the usual cookie cutter... More

My husband and I have a Paranormal Investigation Team called, "Ghost Magnets with a Twist". We are serious Paranormal researchers. We had heard about activity in this fascinating place & we booked in overnight on the 16th (Nov.) The package was great. For only $112.24 + tax (per person)a group can rent it out. Each guest got a full bottle... More

Whitehall Mansion is a curiosity. Built in 1771, it is surrounded and administered by a hotel chain. But it stands apart in all respects. The rooms are large and comfortable - ours had a working fireplace - and decorated in a style appropriate to their age. Because the building faces a busy road, the windows are sealed but the air...
