My son and his girlfriend booked a three night getaway at this beautiful and relaxing bed and breakfast. It is conveniently accessible by MetroNorth station and a car is not an absolute must. They enjoyed biking and kayaking as well as walks to the town of Madison but their stay was made perfect by Victoria. She is friendly and never... More

This B&B is a great place to stay. The breakfast was delicious, and the room was clean and comfortable. They also stock a fridge with drinks and snacks - very nice! Convenient location to a lot of the local attractions, bars, restaurants. Definitely a good place to stay!

We stayed at the inn for two nights in August. Lovely gardens and rooms. The breakfasts were delicious. Awesome presentation. Enjoyed the conversations with the guests and innkeeper. She was very helpful with suggestions for antique shops and restaurants. The inn also provided a pass to the town beaches. Highly recommend a stay here in Madison.

I have decided in my old age to venture out of the Bronx and try B&B places. Montauk and Cape May have been my places of choice, however, what a nice surprice, Connecticut has been. Especially, Madison. Come here for a day or spend a few more days. There are 3 beaches, plus the State beach. Lobster and seafood, along with... More

We spent two nights at this bed and breakfast neart he Conn shoreline and were especially impressed with the quality and quantity of the breakfast. We hwve stayed in probably 60 B & B's over many years of travelling, and thoroughly enjoy them for the opportunity to see historic homes, interact and visit with other guests and the innkeeper, and... My husband and I just had the great pleasure of staying at the Tidewater Inn for the second time and it was another phenomenal experience. The rooms are comfortable, the owner, Victoria, is wonderful, and the breakfasts are superb. You will want this place to become your new home.

What a lovely place! The breakfasts were top notch, the wine and cheese hours memorable, the recommendations by the innkeeper, Victoria, very good, but the most striking component, and that which makes this a 5 star review, is the innkeeper's attention to detail. She has left no component of a comfortable, clean, and accommodating bed and breakfast experience out, and... More

We along with another couple had planned a mid-week stay on our way to MA to play a little golf, explore the Madison area, and eat well. Victoria, friends and staff were very helpful and accommodating in our endeavors. The Inn is well arranged and tastefully decorated. There is a lovely landscaped garden and yard. Victoria has thoughtfully imagined and... More

I was impressed with Victoria before even walking in the door of the Tidewater Inn. When I called to ask a list of questions about the rooms and the area - yeah, I'm that type - she not only responded enthusiastically, but added her own thoughts and suggestions. By the time we finished our conversation, the only desion was how... More
