My 13 year old son and I spent one night here. I had reserved two rooms with one queen bed per room. When we arrived, I was given one room with two queen beds. The front desk clerk was confused when I informed him that the reservation was incorrect. I went back into my emails and found the confirmation email... More

Every year we go skiing in this area and we always choose to stay at the Litchfield Inn. We absolutely love the property, the rooms and everything. This year we took our entire family with young kids and rented 7 rooms. Everything was wonderful as usual - however when we came back home we found that we had been charged... More

I have spent a week at this facility. I picked this because there are not a lot of choices in the Torrington/ Litchfield area. My room had not been swept since I had checked in. I told the front desk one evening and the next day when I returned to my room, it still had not been swept. I made... More

We stayed here after skiing at Mohawk mountain for our 1st anniversary. The room was nicer than most hotel rooms (especially for only $89!). They gave us late checkout (12:30) since we stayed for the brunch, which was delicious and came with a free mimosa! The manager was so sweet and chatted with us a bit. she even had cake... More

We have been here in past NYE because of the dinner, dancing, and room package. This place is under new ownership. They are doing a fantastic job. But it needs work. First, the staff was not well trained. It's NYE, and it took asking 3 different waiters to finally get a drink. People just kept disappearing! The rooms, which are... More

Dear Guest, Thanks for your feedback. We really appreciate your review and will definitely work on the areas which needs improvement. The newly remodeled phase is in progress and we have already accomplished more than 60% of the renovation. The units have been disconnected due to the same reason. We will get back very soon and I am sure your... More

Bantam Bistro is our new favorite go-to for happy hour, dinner and brunch! Chef William's entrees will blow you away. He puts a sophisticated twist on yummy comfort food. The everyday specials, especially burger night, are all incredible. The staff makes you feel like you have walked into the Cheers bar and "everyone knows your name." We have also stayed... More

A beautifully new renovated room greated us when we arrived, complete with a lovely canopy bed and master bath. We ate in the restaurant inside the hotel and found the food to be prepared excellent. The pricing was a bit higher than expected but quality and service were great. Two thumbs up! I would definitely stay at the Litchfield Inn... More

We checked into a room that was colder than the air outside. I asked for handicapped access and we got a room in the farthest point of the hotel, 2nd floor all the way in the back of the building! There were only 2 hangars in the closet, not adequate lighting above the "futuristic sink" , which looked nice but... More

I had a strange stay at this hotel last week. I have stayed at the inn several times before and it’s been nice. The renovated rooms in the back are great. But I was put in an older room and it was frankly gross. I wouldn’t have slept in the bed or sat in the chair which was old and... More

Dear Guests, Thanks for your feedback and we feel sorry that we were not able to make you much comfortable this time. Any staff who may have asked your stay at the Inn would only do so out of security and safety concerns for the guest at the Inn as well as the Bistro. She definitely was just being a... More

Driving up, the street-facing facade of this hostelry gives the appearance of a charming, old New England inn. This impression is immediately dispelled before leaving the parking lot: the inn's bicycles sit outside in the rain, rusting away, with uninflated tires. The disappointment persists as one enters: the lobby is devoid of charm, decorated -- indeed, the entire inn is... More

Dear guest, Thanks for writing your feedback and I feel sorry for not being able to make your stay comfortable. Your feedback does indicate the fact that the interior designer who indeed made a decent amount of efforts to remodel the place could not impress you and our exclusive and hand picked furniture did not bring in the charm as...
