We were very lucky to have found the Wake Robin Inn for our wedding. The staff made every effort to ensure our weekend celebration with our family and friends was an unforgettable experience. Every time we speak to family and friends they mention our wedding and how wonderful their experience was. Everything from the location, the food, and the staff... more

If you are looking for a smaller wedding venue with class -- and without an extensive list of rules and requirements -- this is it. From the bridal couple's initial visit, Shaffin and Michael attended to all inquiries and requests, giving advice when asked but not trying to "run the show". We had wedding guests from California, Oregon, Minnesota, Illinois,... more

The Wake Robin Inn was "home" to my daughter's recent wedding weekend. Family and friends filled the entire inn for the weekend and Wake Robin served as both headquarters for all wedding activities and a place where we could enjoy each others company and vacation. Innkeepers, Shaffin and Michael, as well as their exceptional staff, could not have been more... more

I just spend a weekend at the Wake Robin with my very picky, picky son and his lovely wife, and we had a fabulous time. We loved everything about the place, its welcoming lobby, delightfully and individually appointed rooms, beautifully landscaped grounds and expansive front veranda and decks. And the staff is wonderful, very attentive and accommodating, helped us with... more

This is a beautiful setting, beautiful rooms and great service. I lost a precious bracelet while at a wedding there and the Manager, Shaffin, alerted the whole staff about it that night and the next morning. The Banquet Manager, Cheri, found my bracelet in the morning on the grass, as they were dismantling the Tent. The effort and the caring... more

Our wedding guests experienced exquisite hospitality in this beautiful country inn. Shaffin and his staff exceeded our expectations in every way. We were each treated like members of his own family. Shaffin clearly loves his job and he and his other staffers performed their jobs with dedication and good cheer. When the mother-of-the-bride broke her ankle (offsite) Shaffin brought a... more

If you need to stay in Lakeville for a night or two, the Wake Robin Inn has attractive traditional rooms and no significant problems. But my take is that this isn't really a special-weekend destination in itself. The drawbacks are minor but they add up: There is no air-conditioning in common rooms, and if you're sensitive to noise, you may... more

The service was very attended to and we liked our room. The area of Lakeville, CT has lots to do. Including shopping, wonderful restaurants, hiking and plenty of scenic roads to explore. What I liked the best was a central location with lots to do. more

I stayed at the Wake Robin Inn for two consecutive weeks while in the area on business. My husband traveled with me the first week, and was able to comfortably work from our room, with the internet connection provided by the Inn. We had a queen suite located at the top of the stairs with a lovely balcony overlooking the... more

The Wake Robin offers an inviting and comfortable site for a wedding party. The rooms are attractive, and the public spaces lend themselves to a variety of activities. The inn is always festively decorated. Shaffin and his staff provide warm, courteous, and extremely helpful service. They were always patient and coped with many last minute requests. Our wedding guests were... more
