After booking a reservation through Orbitz and checking in Saturday night, I was called by the front desk after midnight and told that my reservation had been canceled by a 'central reservation system' and that I would have to create a new reservation at a higher rate and provide a new credit card, or be thrown out in 5 minutes.... more

This hotel serves one purpose: a place to sleep if there's a concert at the Meadows. It's a budget hotel so you certainly get what you pay for: scarce furnishings, dark rooms, noisy neighbors, and stiff towels. The staff was very friendly and it was very clean. I personally hate Hartford but always end up going there for something, usually a concert at the Meadows Music Theater (or whatever its called now).
