This exquisite, light, spacious house was the perfect base for our trip to the Salisbury Festival, twenty five minutes away by car. Mark and Sue were so welcoming and the atmosphere was always relaxed and fun. My young son had previously been afraid of dogs, but Tigger and Luna soon put him at his ease! Breakfast was wonderful and I... More

Beautiful spacious house which I gather they designed themselves. The room in which I stayed was lovely and clean (great nights sleep.) The people running it are so kind and Mark is an incredible chef. Will most definitely come again. Also very easy to get to Salisbury which is a picture perfect town. Definitely would recommend!

Dean Lodge turned out to be beyond our expectations. It is the first time I have booked what is effectively a designer private house for a night's b and b and was nervous about feeling you were intruding in someone's private home. This is not an experience Ive had in other family home b and bs but this one is... More

We've stayed at Dean Lodge for 11 nights, it was absolutely great. Breakfast was special every day, with fresh fruit salade, different cheeses and a cooked specialty of choice. Everything fresh from the farm shop nearby. The host and his wife are very pleasant and warm people, who really make you feel at home in their house. we loved the... More

My boyfriend and I plus another couple of friends had a wedding at Howard's House (just up the road) and stayed with Mark at the stunning Dean Lodge on the Saturday night. A new-build amid the thatched cottages of Tisbury, the house is seriously swish. The bed was an absolute joy - so, so comfy and the room was impeccable.... More

Firstly, Dean Lodge is a wonderful building in a very peaceful setting. Upon arrival we were greeted by Mark who was very friendly and welcoming, he asked if we liked dogs and as we did he introduced them to us. Tigger and Luna was beautiful dogs and very well behaved, they were very caring and seeming to enjoy a bit... More

We were in Wiltshire for a christening and had travelled from london by train to Tisbury. The guesthouse owner had sent an informative email about the lodge and how to get there and had even offered to pick us up from the station. The actual premises are fantastic (I had total house envy at this contemporary interior set in the... More

Dean Lodge offers excellent accommodation, expensive for a B&B but the setting is fabulous and the hosts were so very helpful. The lodge is a little off the beaten track, but what a find. They even picked us up from the local pub! Wonderful service. Breakfast was excellent also. This is one you'd want to keep to yourself!!!

We had a wonderful stay with owners Mark and Sue in their lovely home in Swallowcliffe. The room was huge, with great en-suite wet room. Mark did an amazing breakfast the next morning and they were both really wonderful hosts. Would fully recommend over a chain hotel any day. Go and enjoy!

We stayed at Dean Lodge with another couple and their baby for (sadly only) one night at a friend's wedding. Mark and Sue were the most welcoming hosts, and they have a truly fabulous home. I wish we could have stayed longer! The bed was very comfortable, the rooms decorated very stylishly and the welcoming cup of tea and home... More
