The room was bearable and the bathroom reasonably clean. However the hallways literally smelled like horse manure. Really disgusting! And there was no toilet paper in the bathroom - not even a roll holder installed! So I ended up using a box of tissues. Bleh. Never again.

Good: clearest to Quinnipiac U. You could walk to campus from there. Bad: very low end and beat up 70's style motel. Unkept. Smells mentioned to some admins at Q.U. that we stayed there and they all said "oh don't stay there". Live and learn

Number 1.... when my girlfriend and I arrived at the hotel, and went into our hotel room, we went into the bathroom and there were dirty towels hanging on top of the shower rack . I went to the office and told the woman behind the desk , she was nice about it , but what could she really do.... More

The beds are super comfy. if you need to stop and get some sleep. this is a good place to do just that. we took a stay-cation and went to local sites while staying at this motel. the guys local Pizza place (Aladdin's) were nice and delivered by foot since they are just at... Very old and run down. I would not recommend this to anyone. I stay at Days Inn a lot and I was shocked that it was in the shape it was in. We stayed for 4 days because we were there for a graduation and everything was full. We had a room for 3 people with our teenage daughter and... More

I have to start out by saying the front desk people were super nice. The motel is disgusting. Old, musty smelling rooms. Gross pillows. Teeny worn out towels. Nasty bathrooms with rust and mold spots on ceiling. The rooms are so tiny there is no closet (just like an odd space in the room that is closet) Had to listen... More

Common hallways smelled terrible but rooms were clan and smelled fine. Room was very spacious but not much privacy if curtains are left open. Location is a little far out of New Haven but convenient if you intend to spend most of your time in Hamden.

We attended our daughter-in-law's graduation at Yale, the most in-demand weekend of the year for lodging in the New Haven area. Prices for rooms in New Haven can be triple what they normally are, if you can even get them, and often require a several night minimum on this weekend. Given we only needed one night and were not looking... More
