The beds are amazingly nice, new and soft and the rooms are gigantic. I think you could park a car in here. I'm staying at the hotel right now. I stay here often for 4-5 days at a time for work. They always clean up nicely and make the beds everyday. The place was newly remodeled and it appears to... More

My husband, daughter and grandkids make an annual trip back to CT every year. This is the first time we have stayed here and will definitely use it from here on in. Accommodations were just right for us, spacious, clean,..... staff was helpful and available..... good selection for breakfast... very dog friendly... and price more than reasonable.

We were visiting family in Guilford, Ct. for a long weekend. We checked on Trip Advisor for a hotel close to town that was clean and comfortable while also providing breakfast and wifi. We reluctantly chose to stay at the Red Roof Inn after reading negative reviews. Its location and price swayed our decision. We were pleasantly surprised. The room/suite... More

Years ago, the Guilford Suites Hotel (as it was then called) was our usual accommodation when visiting family in the area. About 10 years ago the place hit the skids, and we took our custom elsewhere. The good: The hotel has been completely renovated as a Red Roof Inn. It is clean, quiet (though only about one-quarter full when we... More

When Baymont Inn said they didn't have a reservation for us (though we had confirmation), we scrambled to find a room. Other places were full. For some reason, this place did not show up in any of our searches. However, when we called another place, and they said they were full, they referred us to this one. What a great... More

We were traveling in the northeast visiting relatives and needed a comfortable place to stay that was close to Madison, CT. We also travel with a large lab, Mollie. We discovered this gem that is great for us. In talking with the very helpful manager, Tom Shabbir, I found that they had to redo some renovations due the harsh winter... More

I am perfectly satisfied with a basic room, but these accommodations were more than lacking. The walls and ceilings have a poorly finished look (many cracks, and evidence of shoddy and hasty workmanship) and the doors are so poorly insulated that they shove a towel under every one. The couch is ripped and the switches on the hair dryer appear... More

My husband and I had a great sleep 6 nites in a row. It is a small place, but convenient to have 2 rooms and the tv, bathtub, bed, air conditioning were all great. The staff are warm and friendly and the breakfast and coffee very good. The grounds are beautiful. We would recommend it.

originally wanted to stay for 3 nights but cancelled the last 2 after about an hour of being there. First thing we noticed is the hotel room stunk horribly and was deff a smoking room even though we were told it wasnt. The paint was falling off of the ceiling and chipping all over the floor. The wall paper was... More
