Although the Tower Inn and Suites did the trick of providing us an overnight's lodging in the Madison, CT, area, it was surely not impressive. The room was ordinary with a couple of large moths wandering across the carpet when we arrived; the bathroom was clean. Two double beds were comfortable. Our room, on the front of the motel, faced... Randomly made reservation out of convenience and cost, I was very pleased with the Tower Inn & Suites in Guilford, Ct. The Patels aim to please. Spotless, quiet, comfortable, economical, safe. All that I look for when traveling.

I arrived early as a storm was expected. They accommodated my early arrival. I was happy to see a refrigerator, microwave and hair dryer. There is a great organic food market down the road. I used the coffee in the room, which was decent and even took a bath( which was quite nice). The bed was comfortable, sheets look new,... More

The room itself was nice and clean, as well as the bathroom. However, when I pulled the blankets back to get into bed, the sheets were stained. I don't think the stains were new, but that the stains didn't come out in the wash. Given the stain, the sheets should have been thrown away and not put back on the... More

I stayed here for two nights over New Years while we were visiting family. The bed, bathroom, and room overall, were fine. The heater/AC unit seemed brand new, worked well, and was quiet. A few caveats to the four stars: I stayed in the front, two story part. There are some single story, motel-style rooms in the back which looked... More

I have stayed here several times and highly recommend it. The family that owns it lives on the property and they take very good care of it. The suites are all newer, granite counters, nice bathrooms and very spacious. They could use a coffee table in the living room and the suites need utensils, plates and a few pans. If... More

We stayed at the Tower Inn and Suites for 4 nights in a suite with a king-size bed in the bedroom and two pull-out sofas in the living room. If we had paid $59 a night to stay here, I probably would have been satisfied - but we didn't. The room had an unpleasant odor when we arrived - it... More

We are Red Roof types, but were too tired from driving from Maine to be as sharp as we usually are on our road trips, so we pulled into this super-weathy suburb, vulnerable and exhausted and it was getting late! The parking lot was empty here, so we pulled in, and the owner, Mr. Patel gave us a suite for... More

My boyfriend and I were taking a trip to visit friends in CT. We needed a hotel to stay at just a few minutes away from our friends' house. After being recommended to the Comfort Inn, I tried there first. They told me the only room they had available was a handicapped room, and that I was unable to book... More

We spent last night at the Tower Inn after a long day of work. Unfortunately, sleep was not an option. The Inn has a no smoking policy so the people surrounding our ground floor room spent a good deal of time smoking outside our room. The smoke drifted inside - not a nice experience for non smokers. The occupants of... More
