We went to Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods and needed an affordable hotel to sleep in for one night. This fit the bill. The staff was super helpful and friendly. They offer a free shuttle on Sat. nights to Mohegan that runs every hour 5pm-2am, but make sure you sign up for it early. They fill up quickly. The hotel is... More

When you walked into the room it smelled like stale cigarettes and sweat. All the furniture looked like it came from a salvage yard. We lost power in the evening (I understand it was no fault of the hotel), but after about 30 minutes I feel someone should have knocked or called and asked us if we wanted some candles... More

I have stayed in LOTS of hotels and this one stands out. EVERYTHING exceeded my expectations. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was good. Rooms were clean. It was quiet. For the price - there isn't a better room in town. My only comment would be if I were traveling for pleasure - they don't allow animals - which is... More

I spent a week here on business with a couple other colleagues. Normally I would have stayed down the street at the hampton inn, but my colleagues insisted on this place, mostly because of the freebies they shell out to gov't travellers like us. If staying on the gov't rate, the hotel gives you a voucher for free breakfast buffet... More

This is a good choice for the price if you want to visit the Mystic area, esp. during the summer season. The rates are much lower than those in Mystic, yet it's only minutes away. It's also not too far from Mohegan Sun Casino. Though the lobby is small and unimpressive, it is clean and well-maintained. The staff is friendly... More

I chose this hotel for the indoor pool and the price. My husbands company was working on a job in nearby Waterbury, so I drove from upstate NY to CT. for the weekend. I found the hotel to be clean and the front desk staff to be very friendly. The pool was clean but the workout/fitness room is very small.... More

Please read this before you consider staying there. I brought a group of ten people down for a bachlorette party, they didn't charge the room to the alloted credit card so two people in the bridal party had to pay for the rooms after already giving us their share of the money, a fuse whet out when we were staying... Chris manager owner here. I feel compelled to set the record straight on these guests. They had 6 girls in one room, They said there was 2 . They tripped the circuit themselves overloading it with hairdryers, curling irons, etc. It took only five minutes to reset circuit breaker. This is not the reason they were late. After they came... My husband and I stayed at the Best Western Olympic in on Feb 15 - 17 for our Anniversary weekend. When we arrived we were an hour early for check in and they had no problem giving us our room early. When we checked in we also signed up for the complimentary shuttle to Mohegan Sun. The gentleman at the... More

We saw this Best Western from the highway / looked nice so we pulled in with no reservations. They were able to give us a nice room at a fair price. Staff was very friendly and helpful, we asked about attractions and they were very knowledgable about the area. Room was clean and restaurant was very good. We were given... More

We stary here for 9 nights. We actually had a second room for 4 of the nights. Upon arrival checkin was good nothing spectacular. Lobby appeared to be remodelled. Rooms were good and clean. Some features of the room appeared 'dated', but it also appears that the property is under some sort of renovation. Large trailers in parking lot. We... More
