We stayed overnight at this Hampton Inn to attend a concert at Mohegan Sun. From the moment we got there until check out we had excellent customer service. The front desk was extra friendly and helpful. We took advantage of the free shuttle to Mohegan Sun, complimentary warm cookies, coffee and fruit in the lobby. The free breakfast is standard... I went to Hampton Inn Groton on Nov. 29 for an overnight stay to do some shopping and gambling at Mohegan Sun. The hotel is conveniently located in a commercial area with shops, restaurants, 24 pharmacy and 24 fast food places. I loved the fact that everything was so close and there is even an Apple Bees next door for... More

I stay here every time I visit my son at the Naval Submarine Station. Consistently good service. The folks working here go out of their way to make sure you're taken care of. I would recommend this hotel if you're ever in Groton, CT.

We stayed at this inn recently and were quite impressed with the excellent customer service exhibited by the front desk agent, Scott Illinger. Scott went out of his way to ensure our check - in and our stay were satisfactory. He went over and above the call of duty, printing directions for us and suggesting places to eat. We have... More

As expected, clean room , knob to heat until came off in my hand when i went to turn it on. Maid left a wet cleaning rag on the counter top in bathroom after first night. Snacks in afternoon and breakfast were a nice touch. In area on business would not return

It was an extremely dirty room, the male staff was exceedingly unpleasant in attitude and nature, the breakfast was disgusting and cold. Awful stay and I regret not choosing the Marriott or the Hilton. Never will I step foot in this hotel again. I wish I had read the reviews before staying. The negative ones were completely accurate.

I find some of the prior reviews of this place in direct contradiction of our experience here. Recognizing people have different perspectives, we certainly found this hotel neither run down or outdated; it seemed fairly new to us. We booked our reservation in advance with Darien who was just wonderful and accommodating. I told her we wanted a quiet location... More

By far the least pleasant Hampton Inn I've ever stayed at. First off, this hotel is a sister hotel to the nearby Hilton Garden Inn but you will find none of the Hilton's luxury, charm or cleanliness. Our room was dirty. When I mean dirty, I don't mean like "I'm an obsessive cleaner who can spot a dirt a mile... More

We spent one night here, and for a short weekend stay, the hotel is just fine. The rooms are a decent size, with mini fridge, microwave, flat screen TV. Bed was a little small to my liking, but it was still comfortable. If I were coming up to the area again, I would definitely look to stay here for a... More
