This is a contemporary place with a cool feel and tech all over the place. Pretty much everything in the room is run off an ipad. If you're not tech savvy or use a jitterbug phone- you might want to avoid this...or bring a grandchild to turn on the lights and open the shades! The toilet...awesome. Again...lots of buttons to... First time staying there...have been to the restaurant several times though for dinner. The Hotel is nice over all but instead of investing in toilets that wash you, maybe some better sound proofing in the walls would be a better idea. Booked 2 nights for my birthday with wife. Room was nice but unfortunately was on main floor facing parking lot.... More

Went off a recommendation of a local. He has his family stay there when in town. Great facility. Nothing over the top just quant and technology driven room. Staff was great. Food was good. I had Sushi one night. Wine list was great for a small place. Amazing walks through local neighborhood if you have the time.

Our stay was all that you would hope a hotel to be. Efficient at check in, clean rooms, requests granted, great decor, fun bar and restaurant, easy check out, and great rates for all that! Loved the contemporary flair and quirkiness to the hotel. Easy on and off Rt. 95. Will be back again for sure!

Needed a place to stay on the way to New England but not far from JfK due to a late flight and the J House ended up being pretty good. Not really near anything but the rooms were clean and comfortable and the food from the restaurant was pretty good, if a little over-priced. Everything in the room was controlled... More

I stayed at the J House for two nights on a business trip, and enough said by others about the hi-tech toilet and TVs in the mirrors!! I also found the staff helpful, and really enjoyed the sushi in the bar (excellent quality) and the top notch food in the restaurant. Definitely recommended - the only slight minus is the... More

Toilet was highlight of trip - 11 buttons! Real neat restaurant setup, outdoors open to inside. Very courteous staff! Highway noise was minimal, but staff gave us the best location. Room had balcony with chairs - great for morning coffee.

If you're looking for a modern, hip, high-tech, high-quality place to lodge in the Stamford/Greenwich/Norwalk area....as opposed to the normal Hiltons, Marriotts, etc...this is the place. There are a few problems here and there...but after just doing a meeting there....everyone really enjoyed the experience. The outside area is lovely...food was very good...rooms were efficient and had some "cool high-tech effects"...and... More

I've been to Japan, so the toilet wasn't a total surprise. It took a moment to realize the bar next to it was really a remote and had "features" on 3 sides. The TV in the bathroom mirror was fun, but a distraction for applying make up. Shower was wonderful, but no place to hang anything up. Bed very comfortable.... More

First the good: beautiful, modern decor and impressive amenities. The bad: the is a small hotel, and you can hear every noise from the lobby and corridors inside your room. Sound carries very well here. The very bad: my husband and I planned a one-night romantic getaway for our anniversary. There was a wedding at the hotel the same night,... More
