Words cannot accurately describe the remarkably poor attitude displayed by the staff. I was staying at the hotel with friends and family for an event. The weekend was soured by the deplorable, self satisfying, insanely rude and continuously aloof staff. Fine wine and high tech gadgets do not in any way lessen the need for excellent service. Please be advised.

We always pass this place when going on rt 95 and I look up and say, "Gotta try that." I'd seen a story about it in Time Out magazine and always forget when we're planning to go to CT.. Finally we stayed and it was just lovely. All the hi tech push buttons are fun and it is an attractive,... More

First of all I love staying here. Travel to Greenwich 3 - 4 times a year. Decor is very "trendy". The technology requires a little learning, mostly the light switches and shades. Freeway right outside some rooms, but doesn't seem to bother me. Bar and restaurant are nice and the outside patio bar real cool. Staff have always been very... More

We had an extremely satisfying stay at the J House where they pride themselves on meeting your every need. The staff are friendly and respond to requests promptly. The room was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The "white noise" blanked out the traffic noise nicely. The high tech details involved an iPad which remotely controlled the lights and... More

This place is really cool. TV is also a big mirror. Modern switches and light controls. Super neat Toto toilet that is a combo bidet....talk about a cool toilet experience. Restaurant is very trendy. Overall a neat experience!

I have stayed at the J House on 3 occasions and each one has been as good as the first. From the time you enter the lobby the front desk people are the most friendliest and kind employees you want to meet. There is always a smile on their faces and they go out of their way to help and... More

Nice, clean and modern room, although the "patio" is high walled, no view at all. Comfy bed, tv's in the mirror, nice tech system! The heating didn't work right, so we just shut it off. Disappointed that the restaurant was closed at 8:15pm and the front desk had no clue where we could get dinner (it was a holiday). But... More

Stayed here for 4 nights. Very accessible and nicely detailed hotel. Not being tech savvy I strained with the coffee maker, lights, heater and privacy features. The room can be fully operated by an iPad (which lacked wifi signal a lot) and I had to fumble with switches I could not see in the dark. A hip hotel but too... More

This is a contemporary place with a cool feel and tech all over the place. Pretty much everything in the room is run off an ipad. If you're not tech savvy or use a jitterbug phone- you might want to avoid this...or bring a grandchild to turn on the lights and open the shades! The toilet...awesome. Again...lots of buttons to... First time staying there...have been to the restaurant several times though for dinner. The Hotel is nice over all but instead of investing in toilets that wash you, maybe some better sound proofing in the walls would be a better idea. Booked 2 nights for my birthday with wife. Room was nice but unfortunately was on main floor facing parking lot.... More
