We stayed 2 nights in July, 2011. The Stanton House is across the street from our son, daughter-in-law,and grandaughter, at whose house we are normally welcome (really), but this occasion was a BIG birthday party, and we had no complaints about our stay here. Anyone visiting Greenwich or NYC would likely love this house and the hospitality of the hosts.... More

My husband and I needed a night away. We don't have a car and needed to go somewhere relatively close to home which is Manhattan. I searched the internet and finally found the Stanton House Inn. One thing we wanted was quiet since we are apartment dwellers. We got it by choosing Room 32 which is tucked away in a... More

Stayed 2 nights. Very quiet and super comfortable. Extremely clean. Price per night was very reasonable for the area. The breakfast was all cold items, fruit, bread, cereal and yogurt. Some hot items would have been nice but all in all we really liked staying there. Would stay there again if I visit that area. More

I'm grateful to have found this place - I used it for business travel during the week, but it would have been just as good a choice for any purpose. My room was very large, and very nicely furnished, and in period style, making for a very relaxing atmosphere. This place is so far superior to your usual hotel experience!... More

My sister and I have stayed at the Stanton House numerous times when we return to our home town. It always meets our expectations for cleanliness, comfort ,(beds and surroundings). We have come in all seasons. Breakfast is good and served in a welcoming dining room. The grounds around this venerable, old house and the house itself are well maintained and... More

We count ourselves very fortunate to have found this wonderful B and B . We had read a host of great reviews on Trip Adviser but were worried by the one report of a poor bed and towels . Frankly we found the complete opposite . Our room was large and airy , the bed was kingsized and comfortable and... More

I have had the great pleasure of being a guest at the Stanton House in Greenwich many times. I say "guest" because that is the feeling of staying at this lovingly restored historic home in town. There is grace and charm here - both in the beautifully decorated rooms, and the welcome and care from the family staff/proprietors. If you... More

This place has the makings of a great B&B - beautiful old house, lovely grounds, exclusive neighborhood. HOWEVER, the bed was hard and lumpy, the towels were thin like you would get in a cheap hotel, the shower had very little water pressure and the breakfast was indifferent, just fruit, cereal, toast, no hot food. The room was reasonably clean.... More

We travelled as a family and had two rooms from third floor with connecting door between rooms. A perfect solution for a family with two teenagers. Everything was perfect ! Charming and quite rooms, everything was clean, excellent breakfast, thoughtful and very responsive owners,.... The location near Greenwich Avenue couldn´t be better ! More

We spent an overnight at the Stanton when visiting family in Greenwich. The lovely grounds, pleasant helpful staff, and comfortable well furnished room added to the special memories of our trip. A tasty breakfast topped off our stay. We would definitely return to this classic B&B. More
