My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this bed and breakfast. It is clean, beautifully decorated, and the hosts named Pat and Wayne make you feel welcome. I first got to know about this inn by checking out their website and my experience was just as advertised on their website. The rooms had charming touches and the grounds and... More

I have long admired this Inn on my many walks by. My fiance and I were very pleased to learn that we were able to get married on their picturesque grounds. Both Pat and Wayne were very accommodating and friendly, along with the staff. The house interior is beyond beautiful. The decor is a perfect combination of cozy classic with... More

Recently stayed here for two nights to attend a funeral in Glastonbury. Pat and Wayne were so accommodating to us and some other family that needed to stay. The rooms are extremely comfortable, clean and just lovely, as are the rest of the inn and grounds. We often stay here because of family in the area, but this time the... More

My friend got married here recently. The lawn is pretty but unfortunately, that's about the only good thing I can say. Owners were unbelievably rude to the entire wedding party and the guests. They constantly made everyone feel like they were not welcome. Being at this inn is like having to walk on eggshells around the owners...rather than a welcome... More

We only have good things to say. Charming historic home decorated lovingly by its artist owner ...comfortable room ("Summer")...great shower...fabulous breakfast...lovely grounds with interesting gardens and flowers...accomodating hosts. Enjoyed meeting and chatting with the other guests. Town of Glastonbury has some nice strolling. Try the Daybreak Coffee place down the block. Easy access to major highways. We have family nearby... My husband and I were attending a wedding on the east coast and I wanted to stay in Glastonbury as I had lived there once before. After searching here on TA, we decided to spring for this property. It was more expensive than we had budgeted for, especially since we'd be staying just one night, but decided it would be... More

We are sorry that our guests had less than a positive experience during their stay at our property. Our goal is have all our guests leave with the feeling that they made a great accommodation decision. After breakfast with other guests and light hearted discussions, upon checkout the problem with the bed came up only after I asked how their... More

My husband & I were there to attend a family reunion in Portland. Glastonbury is a lovely town. The main street is one stately home after another. Good restaurants, coffee shops, wine, gift shops. We loved our two night stay at CRVI. Pat & Wayne couldn't have been more accommodating. Comfortable surroundings, excellent breakfasts, lovely grounds. The Inn was very... More

The best B&B we have stayed at yet. It has all the conveniences of an excellent hotel with the warmth and friendliness of a family home. It is the ideal place to stay whether one is on a business trip or simply wants a quiet place to relax and enjoy the grounds. We will definitely return when we are able... More

We stayed two nights at the Connecticut River Valley Inn and would happily go back. Pat and Wayne are great. The house and grounds are very pretty and exceptionally well-maintained. Our suite took up the top floor of the house and consisted of a spacious sitting room, separate bedroom and a good-sized bath with a rain shower. There was plenty... More

Stayed at the Inn during a college reunion weekend. House has great charm and is in the perfect location to be able to walk to stores, restaurants and the CT river. The rooms are nicely appointed and the bed in my room was very comfortable. Beautifully landscaped yard and the back patio was a great place to enjoy a morning... More
