I agree with the previous reviews, the pictures on the website are accurate. We stayed in the Winter room. Balcony access was nice, but it was extremely hot when we were there, so not so enjoyable except in the early morning. Owners were on vacation when we stayed, but the person filling in was very friendly, and helpful with dining... More

You've probably experienced it; the pictures on the website look so enticing. Then you get arrive at a B & B, are shown to your room, and it simply doesn't look anything as nice as the photos online. At the Connecticut River Bally Inn you won't be disappointed. Our room (winter solstice) was absolutely as nice as the photos, maybe... More

I travel to Hartford a lot for work, and I used to stay at the Marriott until I discovered this absolute dream! It has the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in....nice cozy fireplaces for winter time.....luxurious bathrooms....and is beautifully decorated all around. Additionally, Wayne and Pat are just truly lovely people who make you feel so at home... More

This is our first time to stay in a B&B and we loved it. The Inn has 4 rooms and each room is beautifully decorated by the owner herself. They do not feel like hotel rooms but more like your own rooms in your own house. The owner is very nice and helpful. She gave us suggestions to nearly attractions... More

My husband and I stayed at the CT. River Valley Inn for two nights in July and we were very pleased with our accommodations. The Inn is beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Pat makes a delicious breakfast each morning and you will get a full breakfast complete with fruit and perhaps muffins or scones. Pat and Wayne... More

This was our third time staying at the CT River Valley inn, and it keeps getting better and better! Breakfast was amazing, rooms were clean and SO COMFORTABLE! Stayed in the autumn room again, and its beginning to be my favorite! Bathroom and shower were so cute and cozy with the owner's artwork. Can't wait to go back!

Overall a great stay at a small B&B. The house, lawn, and gardens are very pretty, Pat's artistic touches and Wayne's hard work add tons of personality to the property. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a lovely B&B that is exactly as you will see it on the website. We stayed in the Spring Suite for a one-night stay. Everything is very clean, comfortable and well-cared for with an artist eye that makes for beauty as well as comfort. The bathroom in the suite has a really fun, large open shower with multiple... I stayed at the Connecticut River Valley Inn the night before my wedding, my bridesmaids and I used it the morning of the wedding to get ready, we took some pictures on the grounds, and my husband and I stayed the night of our wedding. We stayed in the Spring Rain suite, which was perfect for getting ready, morning photography,... More

We were met on arrival by Pat, who was very helpful. This is an old house that has been renovated quite nicely. They have obviously spent a lot of money doing this. The bathroom had modern conveniences. There are not a lot of rooms here, which we liked. We pretty much had our run of the place. Don't miss the... More
