Found this hotel by chance as was looking for somewhere in this area that would also take dogs and this place came up. When we got there they provided a great friendly and quick service, were great re room allocation due to dogs with easy side access and the room was lovely - way above what we had expected. Nice... I am so grateful I chose this hotel for my recent trip to a week long training course at Trumpf Inc. The hotel picked me up from the airport and took me back which saved a $70 cab ride each way. They also transported me back and forth from the training center for the entire week at no additional charge.... More

I've stayed here twice, and enjoyed the comfortable rooms that make you feel at home. Wood-post beds and colonial style decor are fitting for the area. The beds are extremely comfortable, the rooms are clean and relatively up-to-date, and the shower is strong. An always-available selection of coffee, teas, and hot chocolate add to the welcoming lobby.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the attention to detail was excellent, from the beautifully appointed rooms with their delightful four poster beds to the wonderful feather pillows we couldn't have asked for more! We didn't encounter any traffic noise despite it being near a main road, so I guess it depends on which room you are in. In all... More

In what is otherwise a solid 3-star hotel built in 1965, this surprising and unpleasant experience has made me place this hotel on my "do not return" list. Good in every other respect, this one failing is major for me because I am not a light sleeper. Couldn't fall back to sleep once occupant above started moving around.

We were told we had been upgraded to a suite but the room was right on the main road and the noise was pretty loud. Not only with the regular traffic which is pretty constant all day but their was also some road works going on and we were woken up at all hours of the night. So maybe it... More

We appreciate you taking the time to send us a review about your recent stay with us. It is disappointing to hear that even though we upgraded your room type, the physical location of the suite was not in a preferred area of the hotel. There has been ongoing road work to improve the roads near the hotel and the... More

Our company won a bid to build sports fields at a local but world renowned all girls school. We searched the area for all the major flagships hotels in the area. After touring the Farminton Inn we settled there. The staff has been extreamly professional during the course of our stay. Nancy Jarrett was very instrumental in making sure I... More

Farmington itself was no joy. Roads were under construction and traffic was bad. First impression of the Inn was unfavorable. It does not look like a nice inn from the outside. But upon entering we encounter the smell of hot cider, and a smiling face at the counter. Very nice lobby. The room was lovely, if tight because of the... More

We had a great stay at the Farmington Inn this past weekend! I stayed two nights and it was very enjoyable. The hotel staff was lovely and very helpful. It's an older building but well kept and clean and the beds are amazing! So comfortable with high quality linens. Will definitely stay again next time in town.

Lovely bed in a nice room. fairly quiet. No elevator so its more convenient to enter the 2nd floor from the rear parking lot. They do not have an outside key lock so unless the door is left ajar you must enter from the front.
