The Farmington Inn is a fantastic place to stay and a great value! The staff was very friendly and helpful with information about the area. Our room was beautifully decorated with antique reproductions. Sheets, towels and toiletries were fabulous. Complimentary buffet breakfast was excellent.

A nice quaint inn with a lovely place to eat right next door but in the end it was a disappointment. First, the in-room internet is a joke it was so slow. I had to use my own jetpack wireless device and run up my minutes even to check email. There is no elevator so pack light, lol. I called... More

This is a gorgeous hotel. The staff is very nice, the beds are very comfortable, and the rooms are decorated with local artwork. The price is also right - $100 for a night in such a nice place is a great deal. The continental breakfast was good; mostly cold/dry foods, but there was a waffle maker. I used the gym... More

The best thing about this place was that it's location was convenient for us. Overall, it was marginally clean, but wow, it needs some upkeep. The paint on the doors was severely needing attention and the wallpaper is starting to peel. The smells in the hallways kind of reek of musty. The staff were friendly but ambivalent. The breakfast is... More

What a marvelous boutique hotel. Everything is too cute. The attention to detail is everywhere. The classy lobby is so clean well appointed and spacious. The desk staff is was beyond polite and helpful. The room I had was lovely. The four poster bed, the soft comfy comforter, the large soft pillows, the good internet, the big flat screen with... More

Nestled in scenic Farmngton,CT, down the street from the historic Village area, and Miss Porter's private school for girls (Where Jackie Onasis attended), sits the low key Farmington Inn. Great hotel for anyone traveling with a dog. No hassles about weight limits, no special door tags, no forms to fill out. No one at the Desk even asked about the... More

Stayed here one night on an annual family trip through New England (we live in the West). Chose the Inn based on Tripadvisor reviews and were very pleased: quiet, comfortable, friendly, well-appointed, convenient, nicely located, informative, clean, comfy beds, nice toiletries.... We usually stay in B&Bs when we can find one and otherwise Hampton Inns (HHonors points and no surprises).... More

Our second floor room was clean, spacious, and quiet. The breakfast was merely adequate; not much selection, although good coffee. Across the street in the little shopping mall is a Starbucks, if you would like something nicer. I think the hotel is a good value and much nicer than staying in a generic chain motel.

Our family of 10 from California, Kentucky, Ohio and Florida stayed here to attend a memorial service for our 92 year old Dad. The staff from the front desk to housekeeping to cafe hostess were most courteous. A special shout out from our family goes to the hotel manager for her pleasant, caring and professional personality. We were also able... More

for the 3rd time in 3 years, while visiting an aging family member (who lives near the Inn) we stayed at the Farmington Inn. simple, clean, snacks all day, good breakfast, wifi and affordable rates make it winner each year. BUT the best reason is the staff. they are so unbelievable friendly, helpful and patient that i even came online... More
