The "upgrades" to this property have changed this family friendly location to a place even a business traveler would only want to stay a day. While the rooms are clean enough, bed was comfortable and decor was pleasant to the eye, the grounds are confusing and dirty. The carpet is dark from foot traffic in many common areas. The hotel... The pictures on the website are deceiving. The hotel clerk had a good sense of humor and was polite. The room was old and smelly. The bathroom was the best thing in this room. The television needed to be upgraded to a size we could actually see from the bed. The price was rediculous ($126 / night ). This is... More

For what the room looked like the price was a little to high. Bathroom sink faucet was not user friendly. the only thing new in the room was the toilet. Bed was soft and slept good, but the room over all was poor.

A nice smile and friendly conversation as I checked in. Room was big and both beds were clean, smelled fresh and well maintained, newer comforter, and VERY COMFORTABLE. Room smelled good, no musty smell like most places. Bathroom was big and well kept and had everything I needed after a long day of working outside all day, Towels, soap, cream... More

The hotel was clean as well as a very quiet and safe place to stay! Centrally located and walking distance to Resturant, markets and A Dunkin Donuts ! Renovations as well as some updates to this property are in need, but you would be hard pressed to find a hotel in this area fir the price.

Stayed here two nights. Beds were comfortable enough, and bathroom clean and bright, but maintenance and housekeeping need work. On the first night, room had one non-working desk lamp (with a dead fly on the desk below), and the other lamps' bulbs were low wattage (40w?) so reading at night was difficult. Weatherstripping at the door's bottom was partly pulled... More

Listen- this motel is in my opinion a place you don't want to stay for more than 1-2 nights. It served it's purpose for my husband and I for what we needed. We stayed here only because we were running the Fairfield half marathon and wanted a place the closest to the start line and the other B&B was sold... More

The problem with Trip Advisor is that when you pull up outside a hotel called on its signage out front, 'The Fairfield Inn', it doesn't pop up immediately because TA calls it something different and doesn't search for similar names! No matter because we found the reviews and agree. This hotel lifts itself out of the common herd by the... More

This hotel is the definition of comfortable and cozy. I want to start off with two thumbs up to housekeeping! Wow* they sure get down to business with cleanliness! The carpet looks fairly new and very well taken care of. The bathrooms are immaculate. I've been to 5 star hotels, and many were never kept up like this. The head... More
