My husband and I stayed at the Thimble Islands B&B just last weekend for our wedding anniversary ( and first night away from our 5.5 month old baby)! We loved it and definitely want to return! Julie and Tony were great hosts and we loved talking with them in the evening while enjoying the yummy cheese and wine they offer.... More

Our stay at the Thimble Islands B&B could not have been any more perfect. From the amazing views from every window, to Julie and Tony's warm hospitality, to the perfect breakfasts, to the wine and cheese each afternoon (where Julie and Tony joined us for some really great conversation)--it was simply a perfect stay.

We stayed here for four nights in October 2014, having picked the site off the internet because of the high recommendation of previous visitors on Tripadvisor.... and it was the best move we could have made. There are not only breath-taking views here, and clean, updated, comfortable surroundings, but the hosts Julie and Tony Broom are beyond accommodating. From wonderful... More

I discovered this B and B months prior to our visit and decided from the photos alone this was where I wanted to stay for our anniversary. We enjoyed the egret room, located at the end of the house, for 3 nights. Breakfast was lovely, enhanced by being able to eat on the enclosed patio with views of the water... More

We stayed here for only one night and feel lucky that we had that opportunity. Julie and Tony Broom "swept" us away with their attention to detail, hospitality, kindness, great food (definitely have the Thimble Island omelet), great wine and cheese too! Their home is beautiful and when you are guests there you feel like it is your home too!... More

We spent 2 nights in the egret room. This room has a king bed, fine furniture and a wonderful bathroom/shower. The bedding was first-class. The room overlooks the water. The B&B is in a private home located at the end of a dead-end road. It's a very quiet area. The home is exquisite in all respects. The hosts, Julie and... More

If you have the opportunity to stay at the Thimble Island B&B with Julie and Tony consider yourself Royalty for having both being in a fabulously unique location and treated to the most superb and detailed attention possible for hospitality. It was a great anniversary get-a-way and they were very accommodating to our needs. Thank you so much! with love,... More

My girlfriend Lauren and I (mid-late 20's) spent a lot of time trying to decide on a great east coast location and accommodations for a Valentine's weekend trip. Coming from NYC, we were looking for a place that was very relaxing but also offered options for activities (day trips, walks, etc.). We chose the Thimble Islands based on the quality... More

Combine an immaculate home, loaded with art and artifacts, luxurious bedroom and bath suite, fine linens,....and a served, elegant breakfast. Add hosts, who even for one night, make you feel totally relaxed and as if you are family. Get ready for views of the Thimble Islands at sunset and morning dawn that you'll never forget. GPS does not work well,... More

My wife and I stayed at the Thimble Island B&B during a mini-vacation that combined a visit to our son at Yale with outdoor excursions for us. Everything you have read on previous five-star reviews is accurate. Julie and Tony are gracious, knowledgeable hosts. They offer help -- directions, restaurant recommendations -- but are not overbearing. Their breakfasts are splendid,... More
