We just spent the weekend at Odetah. The kids absolutely had a blast. Tom the trolley driver was the best part of this trip. He drove the trolley around for hours and was so welcoming he knew our names, where our site was when he picked us up and was the nicest and funniest person you'd ever meet. He made... More

We were excited to try Odetah this season because of the change in their Dog policy. Previously they did not allow dogs to be walked through the grounds on a leash and would have to be driven to the "dog park". The "Dog Park" is simply a VERY rocky (jagged rocks sticking out of the ground), area that is barely... More

This was our second year staying in a yurt at Odetah. Let me start with the positives - though they don't show pictures on their website, their lake has a huge inflatable slide with water trampolines on both sides. My kids spent hours on those. Convenient location just off highway with plenty of amenities nearby. Yurt was clean and comfortable,... More

We spent this past Memorial Day Weekend at Odetah. The check-in was a little timely, but the staff was pleasant and we were escorted right to our site. Our boys utilized the basketball courts for pick-up games, the field for some ultimate frisbee, and had a great time on the trampolines and slide in the middle of the lake. The... More

Just got back from a memorial day weekend trip, have been here multiple times in the past and even were seasonal one year. On this trip we found the office staff to be unhelpful and unfriendly. A new edition to the campground is a fitness center only available to seasonal patrons,we were not allowed to use it, even though no... More

I have been to this camping resort 3 times. The first time without pets, the second with a young puppy (2 months old). We had no pet issues on the second trip. The campground is well-kept. In addition to a pool, there is a lake for swimming and boating. The onsite store is stocked with most of the stuff you... More

We wanted to love Odetah. It's close to us, and could be a great last minute getaway. It's right off the highway, so it's convenient. It has most of the amenities you want in a family campground. We tried it based on an article in the Hartford Courant this past summer about glamping. The article mentioned Odetah's poolside massages and... More

Spent this past weekend with my sister and kids. Called a few days before arrival and reserved a lake view site. The only reason we wanted to go there was for the lake view. Spoke with a front desk staff who confirmed with me that my requested site was available. Arrival day came and when I arrived I was extremely... More

Labor Day Weekend-check-in was a breeze, very polite and friendly girl at the front gate. They escort you directly to your site and assist you backing in if needed. So..i started backing into our site #43, and had a lot of trouble because it was slightly uphill and uneven. My wheels on my jeep spun out. The hook ups are... More

We recently stayed here and camped for 3 nights. The property is beautiful, they have an awesome water slide/trampoline in the middle of the lake. There is a golf cart tram that comes around periodically. The only downfall is that pets are not allowed off site. You must drive your dogs to the doggie park. I really wish they would... More
