It's Colorado and this is a Colorado hotel. Pine tress, fresh air and high elevation! They have small cabins and rooms. All are set up for a stay. The rooms, small and large come with kitchen type, from small cook tops and micro waves, and small refrigerators. Rooms are quiet and have pretty much what you might need. The office... More

I just got home after a weekend stay at Eagle Fire Lodge for my cousin's wedding. The room was nice and the staff was super nice. We had a Queen suite and there were 3 women staying in the room and with the 2 separate vanities we were able to get ready for the wedding without getting in each other's... More

Our family was traveling to the area for our nephew's wedding and we were a little concerned after choosing this hotel and then reading some of the reviews but all of our fears were quickly put to bed after checking in. This location is not hard to find. There is a huge sign well before the driveway entrance and it... More

This motel is incredibly clean, new but with a cabin feel. The Bear suite was perfect for the family that we had, with the separate room downstairs and loft room upstairs as well as the fold out couch, it slept everyone we needed, and had enough space for us while eating or playing games (that were provided in the lobby,... My husband and I have stayed numerous times with Eagle Fire Lodge. We have always been pleased until this trip. We booked the Bear Lodge over a month ago. We specifically requested the Bear Suite since it faced Pikes Peak. We made it a point to have that suite so my dad could sit on the couch and look at... More

I am so sorry to hear about your father. I wish for you the strength to make it through this journey. I am sorry that you were not satisfied with your stay in our 2 Bedroom Fish Suite. I reviewed your reservation that you made online. You are correct that you booked the Bear Suite online. Our guests that were... More

We rented Cabin 4 for a one month period of time between April and May 2015. We had a partial view of Pikes Peak. The bathroom and kitchen are small but for two people it worked out just fine. Overall, the cabin and property were quiet. It is clean and quaint. We brought a few things of our own which... More

Let's face it folks, when you come to Colorado Springs/Woodland Park, you're not visiting to stay in your hotel the entire time. With that being said, the Eagle Fire Lodge is not a five star hotel so do not expect a concierge, a valet or room service. However, fully expect a clean, quiet and comfortable stay. We have stayed here... More

Thank you for your input. We are very happy to accommodate your furry friends in most of our units. I hope you took the opportunity to hike on one of the many trails in our area. Our Mountain cabins were built in the 50's. Although updated and renovated they are what they are, cozy and cute! Hope to see you... More

We stayed here with our 2 dogs. It was very nice for them and us. Stayed in cabin 2. The 1st 2 days were really nice only to have our trip cut short due to snowstorm coming in. Wished that they had a different refund policy. We came in 1 day ahead and they were able to take us early.... More

We spent one evening here. Biggest problem we found was the location. On a blind bend of a very busy stretch of highway 24, the motel sign is in the wrong location and not next to the entrance. It took us three attempts to figure out how to even get in to the place. When you have to leave the... More

We are sorry you were not happy with your stay with us. Access to our location is dictated by the Colorado Department of Transportation, as is the case with many of the properties along Highway 24. Truth is, this is the first "access" complaint we've received, and there is really nothing that can be done to change access/egress to our... More

Just by random did we pick the EagleFire. We stayed in one of the "luxury suites" and found it very nice. Overall the place was easy to find and get into parking being no problem. The clerk at checkin was busy elsewhere but they had made arrangements for people coming in to find them via telephone. No worries there. Very... More
