this is now our fifth time back and yet again the service and and atmosphere of the lodge is second to none. The rooms are cosy and whilst not huge offer all you need. The staff, although different each year are of the same high standard. Nothing is to much trouble. The lodge provides breakfast and an evening meal which... More

If you read my prior reviews, you see that we have been more than satisfied with our prior stays at the TimberHouse. The food service was always good, but this year has moved up. Many of the dinners were served family style, and none went away hungry, even three growing teenaged young men. Scratch made pulled pork, Jamaican spiced short... More

Stayed here for 4 nights, bed, breakfast and dinner for $100 a night. Staff are very friendly and get good discounts on tickets and rentals. Can ski back to lodge by the billy woods trail and they take you to the lifts in the morning. Stayed at the vintage last year. This place is a real gem and I will... More

Our first vacation to Timberhouse was last December and we couldn't wait to plan our return trip! Todd and his staff are welcoming, hospitable and fun! Our daughters (15 & 10) enjoyed making new friends and playing board games, ping-pong, pool, etc. The ski rental and lift tickets were easy to navigate and we were skiing in no time! After... More

We happily returned to the TimberHouse again this year....four the fourth year in a row! However, this time we were joined by my oldest sons' girlfriend and her mother. We arrived on Easter Sunday and they late Monday evening via Home James. Todd and his staff had their room made up, pitcher of water and a vaporizer running since he... More

A quiet, quaint mountain inn with a strict no-phones/laptops policy and a family-style guest dining room isn't everyone's cup of tea. But, I found the TimberHouse Ski Lodge to be friendly, chill and charming with a dash of weird. Hipsters would love this place but thankfully, it seems to be undiscovered. If you're looking for a deal and you don't... More

I live in the Midwest but have skied in Colorado every Winter since 1980. In that time we have stayed in many condominiums in Steamboat and Silverthorne and enjoyed the hospitality for many years at the Gasthaus Eichler in Winter Park. The TimberHouse has become a favorite for many reasons. The location is picturesque and secluded but not as far... More

TimberHouse lodge prides itself on providing a community to fellow skiers and succeeds. Cell phones and laptops are banished from the living room and dining rooms, Everyone eats together (breakfast, 4 pm tea and dinner are camp style) and everyone hangs out talking about skiing, puzzles, etc.. I'm not the biggest fan of forced togetherness but it works here. Todd... More

Upon reading lots and lots of reviews searching for the perfect place to stay in winter park, and weighing pros and cons of renting a house, condo, hotel etc we stumbled over Timberhouse lodge. Was a little worried at first as there was a few reviews deeming it very dark and rustic. When we drove up the children said to... More

We just returned from a four night stay at the lodge. I travel frequently for business and this did not feel at all like a hotel. It was more like staying at my friends' family's summer house in New Hampshire. Todd knew all our names on arrival, and we were always referred to by first name. The rooms have lots... More
