A Five Guy vacation at this lodge was great fun. It was the second time we have stayed at this lodge while skiing at Winter Park for a week. Close to many restaurants in town and a mall. Cinema is just down the street, but a car is needed. Winter Park shuttle comes by this lodge and gets you to... More

This place is perfect for families who ski. Older condominiums but well maintained. Full kitchens, hot tub in central location, and gas fire places. Prices for rental are very reasonable. Walking distance to shops and restaurants in Winter Park. Bus shuttle stop to ski hill a couple blocks away.

I've spent a week at Lions Gate almost every year since I was born (~22 years). Each year I get so excited to just step foot in the condo. They've updated it slowly year to year and of course it's not going to be spotless and perfect everywhere...Hellooo people stomp in with their muddy ski boots on a daily basis!... More

I've been coming here in the summer with my family for over 30 years. My review is somewhat biased because growing up here I always looked forward to this week and we've built up some great memories and traditions. The units themselves are comfortable and clean. They're not fancy but great for a family. Updates to furniture seem to be... More

This is actually a vacation rental, we exchanged through Interval International to stay here. This is an older property, seeing many ski seasons. The property was very clean and well kept. We stayed on the third floor, no elevator, this was only an issue on the move in and move out, but I don't believe the property would be a... More

My fiancé and I stayed here for 4 days in April 2013 for some Spring skiing. We stayed in a 3 bedroom unit which was more than enough room for us. The first level has a powder room and then a separate shower next to it. The kitchen, living and dining are also on the 1st level. The kitchen came... More

We stayed in a three bedroom townhouse which though it is now dated has all the facilities you would need. The apartment is in a quiet location just above the town of winter park. The accommodation is clean, spacious and has all the facilities needed. We were delighted by the wild life visiting the patio particularly the comical baby chipmunks... More

The place was extremely clean but very dated. Fire detector was hanging out of the wall with wires hanging out, the couch had stains and tears in it. The lightbulb was out un the bedroom and even though they said they would send someone to fix it, no one ever did. All in all not bad, just looks as though... More

Lion's Gate Pine Lodge was a charming resort with easy access to the mountains. We enjoyed hiking, biking and wildlife viewing. The rooms were cozy and clean. Yes, the train runs through the town - not a problem for me and it did not wake me up. We stayed five nights and had a great time.

We stayed for one week on the side of the building facing the train tracks (mentioned by everyone else). Never got woken up by it and really didn't find it to be that loud at all, even during the day when trains are more frequent. One of the toilets got backed up, but they fixed it within 15 minutes (probably... More
