I like to do a lot of last minute trips to WP and this is an affordable and close option. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The front desk clerk graciously went on a hunt for a fork and knife for me at 11pm at night. The rooms are just fine and clean. It's all we needed since we... More

You get what you pay for. The location to the resort is great, but the rooms need SERIOUS work. They aren't particularly clean (mildew under the caulking in the tub, dirty bed skirts, marks on the walls, and a lot of torn up carpet). And to make up for the somewhat dirty rooms, management is not accommodating at ALL. We... More

Just stayed here for 4 nights and was not very impressed. Bad points - internet was dreadful, you could have it one day and not at all the next, some people had it ,some did not, like it was being shared. The walls were thin so sometimes you felt younwere sharing your room with your neighbours. Shower was not very... More

As we were being led to our room we were told how fortunate we were because it was just newly refurbished. We felt they hadn't finished the renovation. The bathroom door could not be closed all the way. We had to ask for a wastebasket as there wasn't one in the room. There was a cut out for an in... More

Couple of things went into the poor review. First, I booked online through expedia the pictures of the hotel are NOT the same as what we were put in....Ill be posting pictures later. The pics online are clean white, bright, new....no mention of how outdated and maintained the property is. Second....I paid an additional expense for a mountain view which... More

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly. The rooms were the cleanest I have ever had in a hotel (and I'm quite picky). The location was perfect - right by the mountain, easy access to go skiing/snowboarding and we appreciated that it was not in the center of town but just at the base of the mountain,... More

Was terribly unimpressed with the hotel. Our original plan was to take a shuttle from Denver since the hotel was 'so close' to the slopes. Thankfully on a whim we rented a car at the last minute because the hotel is very close, as long as you disregard the deadly highway in between. The rooms were in need of a... More

Echoing a recent review, “I was not expecting this place to be that nice for the price.” x2 (thanks Wal-Dawg) The close vicinity and the frequent shuttle bus service made this an ideal location for our ski trip to Winter Park. We also hired all our required gear (it a long way from Australia) at the conveniently located on premise... More

I stayed in this hotel at the end of January 2015 and noted that the window heating units blow in directly to the bed next to it and I fortunately had a package that is sizable enough to block off the wind from blowing over my whole body during the whole night, not to mention about the noise. The hotel... More

A few friends and I stayed at the WP Mountain Lodge last week and had a great time. The rooms are very standard and don't have all the fancy amenities, but if you are a real skier you don't need heated remote controls for the TV and furry after-ski slippers anyway. The breakfast was awesome but a touch expensive. Beds... More
