Stayed at Valley Hi Motel for one night. I thought that for the price it was a pretty good hotel and would stay there again. The hotel is outdated but it quite large with a lot of space. The room was clean and quiet. I will definitely come back.

Our room was very spacious and even though it fronted right on the main drag was very quiet. A nice outdoor hot tub right out the back door was great after a day of cross-country skiing. The motel is walking distance to anything in downtown Winter Park. Only disappointment was having to pay for WIFI after the first hour.

This is a basic motel, but it has more wonderful touches than most in this category, making me feel less bad, much less bad, about paying $100 for a 2-star motel. The rooms are very large, with a table and chairs, a separate shower and toilet room, a sink, a fridge, a microwave, a big TV, and lush comforters. PLUS... More

Very old , the room smells like smoke. Not at all what I was expecting. No refunds when you.book on line. Came all the way from Georgia to experience the beauty of the Rocky Mountains but we can't see them from this hotel. The room seems to be clean but hopelessly outdated. The owner tells us a black bear raids... More

Stayed at Valley Hi between 8/11/14 - 8/13/14 . Rooms are spacious and very clean. Very good value for the price. Within walking distance of all restaurants and shops. Owner is very friendly and will help with anything you need. Only 1 mile from Winter Park resort. Nice walk or bike ride to resort on paved path thru trees and... More

I stayed at Valley Hi during the Winter Park Jazz Fest on 7/19/14 & 7/20/14. Clean & well maintained. All the previous positive reviews about the place were right! Walking distance to Hideaway Park, restaurants & shops in downtown WP. Had a nice hot tub on the rear desk, wish I would have brought a swim suit to use it.... More

Joe runs a tidy operation and it was easy to see the care that goes into maintaining the place, which really contributed to a comfortable feeling. My one night stay was quiet and restful and, given the location, priced reasonably. It was the perfect stop for a weary traveler who needed to get clean, charge electrics, and sleep in a... More

Stayed here while visiting Winter Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. The rooms are large, clean, beds comfortable, and linens/towels of good quality. The breakfast was adequate. Good cereal, fruit, juice and croissants. This can be found in the back hall area. We enjoyed eating in the deck in the rear of the building. There is no air conditioning, but... More

On the first day of a 5 day bicycle ride, my friends and I encountered snow riding down Berthoud Pass. We arrived at Valley Hi Motel frozen, almost unable to move our hands. Joe (the manager/owner) took control, got us warmed up, carried our bikes and backpacks into our room, then suggested we get into the shower and stay there... More

We had a great stay here and the staff was very friendly - told us all about the local area and various attractions nearby. Room was clean and spacious. Our room didn't have air conditioning and it was a bit warm on the 4th of July weekend, but other than that - great place to stay!
