The Porter House B&B is a lovely 100+ year old Victorian house, lovingly restored with period furniture and decor, but very modern bathrooms, air conditioning, etc. The common rooms include a livingroom, a parlor and a dining room. The small garden is beautifully landscaped and has a koi pond that is lovely. There is a hot tub available to guests that we didn't have time to use. We stayed in the Turret Room which is a mini-suite with a tiny but pretty sitting room. The bed was excellent and the linens were high-end. The proprietors are very friendly and helpful in every way. The full cooked breakfasts are restaurant quality. One day we had a sausage and vegetable frittata that was superb, another day we had blueberry pancakes and bacon. Each breakfast was accompanied by fresh fruit and pastries (scones, muffins, etc.), The coffee was excellent. The only drawback is the location.
