Just stayed 4 nights at Hunters Moon at very short notice, we were very lucky they could fit us in. Lovely room, spotlessly clean. Lots of nice little touches, Richard and Pauline go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. Small guest fridge, kettle, tea and coffee, including decaf. Lovely big towels, nice sized shower room. Plenty of room... More

This is the third time we've stayed at Hunters Moon, and still remains the charming experience we had the first time we stayed there. Richard and Pauline make you so welcome and nothing is too much trouble even when you're not feeling very well, even the offer of a Drs telephone number. Thank you so much yet again.

We have had the most fantastic week at Hunters Moon nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent, room excellent, Richard and Pauline such lovely hosts. We cannot fault Richards knowledge of the area and he also gave us maps to follow when we mentioned going to various places. Our silver wedding anniversary was one to be remembered for many... More

We were lucky enough to find this brilliant B&B online.Richard and Pauline run an incredibly tight ship. The bedroom was very comfortable with a 6ft bed and very nice ensuite shower room.Breakfast was all you would expect and the extra service provided by Richard by way of helpful instructions and guidance was so helpful. We would recommend this B&B to anyone... More

Well appointed accommodation in a quiet village away from traffic yet convenient to St Austell and main road links to many parts of Cornwall. Richard and Pauline are very welcoming and caring hosts, anxious to offer any information required about local attractions, eating places, directions etc. We were particularly keen to visit the Eden Project and Lanhydrock House, both of... Richard and Pauline Scott own Hunter's Moon Bed & Breakfast. The accommodation is faultless, the welcome so warm and the breakfasts excellent. We stayed for two nights at the end of September and were so glad that we choose Hunter's Moon. To cap it all, the Polgooth Inn is only five minutes' walk away, so you're well catered for.

A Cornish gem - Richard and Pauline were perfect hosts in a hill top retreat. They went out of their way to make my stay memorable - driving me into town to catch a train one day, so I could get on a boat (after days of trying to get on the water!). The breakfasts were scrumptious - you could... More

This was our first visit to Hunters Moon in August 2013. We stayed for 3 nights while visiting relatives in Sticker. Our hosts Richard and Pauline could not have done more to make this a visit to remember. The house was immaculately clean and food a delight. Polgooth Inn a short distance away is also worth a visit. Thank you... More

Had a lovely 4 night stay with Richard and Pauline who made us feel as welcome as ever. Last stayed here 9 years ago and can thankfully say this guest house has retained it's charm and looked forward to the stunning breakfast and the witty personality of Richard who started the day by giving you a whimsical smile. Rooms are... More

Hunter’s Moon is as clean as a B&B should be. The best part of the position is that it is within 10 min. walk of the very pleasant Polgooth Inn, where delicious food is served by a friendly staff. Otherwise it is in a rather awkward position and difficult to find. When welcomed by the hosts and taken to our... More

Naturally we’re sorry that Mr Holm didn’t enjoy his stay at Hunter’s Moon but we would just like to put the record straight on a few misleading comments in his review and omitted information. Firstly, the house is not difficult to find nor is it in an awkward position; we are two miles from St Austell and just off a... More
