We were traveling from Montana to Colorado and planned to stop in Walden for the night. With Walden being a small town, the Antler's Inn was a nice surprise. The hotel with 26 rooms sits over a restaurant; the room was small, but very quiet, clean, and comfortable.

I will always remember what I felt when I first arrived in the restaurant of the Antlers Inn : happiness. After a long trip, we arrived at night and the manager was kind and professional . We had one of the best meal of our USA trip. The food is so good and I'm still dreaming of their French toasts... More

On our way to Winter Park Colorado and stopped here for breakfast. Great place to have breakfast!! Staff was friendly and service was very good. The Inn has been remodeled with a western decor characteristic of the area. Did not stay here as we were on the road to Winter Park CO.

Great hotel - beautifully maintained. Too bad Walden has nothing to offer in the summer. No moose in the moose viewing area, most of Main St is shattered, and the Pioneer Museum (the only attraction in town) was padlocked at 3:30 on a Saturday.

Clean room, good mattress, large bathrooms, and attentive maid services. We stayed here during the '14 hunting season and it was nearby to several good areas. The trophy/lounge room was extremely well appointed in a historic way. Massive fireplace, comfortable and plenty of seating. Real nice touch!! The only negatives were that the service desk was part of the downstairs... More

Does not have air-conditioning but it is probably the best hotel in the tiny town of walden. We have visited this hotel more than once when we visit the moose country. Customer service was good at the cafe downstairs. Lots of hunters around the area.

We originally booked a king bedroom, but were asked if we'd consider an upgrade to Suite B (at no additional charge) to accommodate another guest, which was fine with us. The three suites are located on the second floor of an attached building that maybe once was a theater next to the inn and restaurant. The ground floor is currently... More

Very quaint place that is reminiscent of a more opulent time in the west. Very comfortable furniture, bed; quiet, and restful. Excellent service, and reasonable prices. A bit off of the beaten path, but in the heart of some of the best fly fishing in the west. The drive to it is amazingly beautiful.

I wanted to rate this higher because someone obviously put a ton of money into this place in the past few years and, once you've seen Walden, you want the place to succeed. The failings would be pretty easily fixed up, if the owners care to. First of all, it's just plain dark in the hallways and the rooms! At... More

This old hotel is very nicely done in rustic yet upgraded style. The upstairs sitting area is totally old time decor and beautiful and comfortable with doors that open onto a large balcony overlooking the street. You feel like you are living in the old west (and you are) when you stay at this hotel. The room was small but... More
