Very quaint place that is reminiscent of a more opulent time in the west. Very comfortable furniture, bed; quiet, and restful. Excellent service, and reasonable prices. A bit off of the beaten path, but in the heart of some of the best fly fishing in the west. The drive to it is amazingly beautiful.

I wanted to rate this higher because someone obviously put a ton of money into this place in the past few years and, once you've seen Walden, you want the place to succeed. The failings would be pretty easily fixed up, if the owners care to. First of all, it's just plain dark in the hallways and the rooms! At... More

This old hotel is very nicely done in rustic yet upgraded style. The upstairs sitting area is totally old time decor and beautiful and comfortable with doors that open onto a large balcony overlooking the street. You feel like you are living in the old west (and you are) when you stay at this hotel. The room was small but... More

Loved this historic hotel that is restored and in tip-top condition. The sitting area upstairs is beautiful and complete with a fireplace and lots of big comfortable furniture. The sitting area opens out to a big balcony that overlooks main street. The hotel is tastefully down with lots of huge timbers. We ate at the restaurant downstairs and it was... More

Some would suggest the hotel has character, it does, but at a price, its very dark. No ice machine we could find in the hotel, but Reception were very helpful and got a huge bag of ice. Good size rooms (we had 2 double beds). No Tea or Coffee making facility. Food was ok, probably the nicest in Walden, there... More

You will love the fact that your room will be above the resuraunt ( you will never hear any of the noise from downstairs) and the staff is friendly and courteous! I suggest the room with a king bed and dual shower heads! Price is a little more than other stays but trust me, it's worth it! We just need... More

We planned a trip to Colorado before the government shut down but knew our route had been compromised by bad weather in that area. We decided to approach Rocky Mountain National Park from the North so travelled through Wyoming. My husband did a lengthy search to find a stopping place along our route and was pleased to find Antlers Inn... More

If you like Medieval rooms, heavy furniture, 2inch thick doors, cast iron furniture this is the place for you. Very clean, but the tv didn't work. Staff were friendly only after they knew we were staying there. Food in cafe ok! But heavy duty. Room clean and well resources. No tea or coffee!:( an ok place to stay, but a... More

We stayed here on Labor Day weekend. The property here is first class. Very beautiful wood and old western décor with a modern twist. The hotel was decorated with no expense spared. Our room was clean and comfortable and the café has great food and service. Would love to stay here again. The balcony has a beautiful view too.
