We went for the first time in years to Valley View Hot springs, from the reviews we knew clothing was optional , but we were taken by complete surprise by how much nudity there was, from the reviews we expected some but we were the only ones with clothes on, to have a guy at the welcome center nude, prancing... I absolutely loved nearly everything about this place: the beautiful natural setting, the cozy cabin, friendly people, relaxing pace....but I was seriously put off by the clerk at the "welcome center." Our GPS got us outrageously lost, so we were late, tired, and frazzled. But the guy at the front desk made it even worse. He was officious and off-putting,... More

After reading 3 pages of reviews, I am in complete agreement with what has been posted. The hot springs are great, the guests are great etc. The problem with OLT is the staff. This is such ridiculous problem to have. I've been there a few times this summer and enjoy everything but the staff. I haven't had any problem with... More

My wife and I chose to visit this place to kick off our 5 year anniversary road trip. Both of us had never experienced a truly clothing optional environment until this trip. It definitely takes some getting used to but after awhile my wife and I just enjoyed ourselves. That aside, the springs themselves were surprisingly cooler than I expected.... More

The people who work here are crazy. My son was bitten by beg bugs and they yelled at him when I wasn't there. Uhm. They also charged our card twice and then made us members "$30" to make a reservation. At $100 a night its not cheap. Also there's a lot of pot use by guests and staff. One of... More

Rats, bed begs and rude staff. The hot springs are part of a larger "non-profit" that is losing money in droves so they are over charging "guests" and being rude to them in the process. Use to be a great place and something has gone wrong.

The hot springs are not really hot, they are very warm, in the 90s. Still, the natural pools are all great for a relaxing soak. There is also a pool that is large enough to do laps (but you should do that early in the morning if you like to swim alone) and there is an indoor sauna with an... More

Love it or hate it (personally i love it), Valley View Hot Springs are harf to judge. Not just a camp site, not just motel-stule rooms, not just hot springs... If you're looking for a place away from everything (nearest shop is a 40 minutes drive), but near to the nature, OLT is a great solution. We stayed in the... More

Friends had told us about Valley View, so when we found ourselves in Colorado for a reunion my husband and I decided to take a day/night and drive out. We stayed in a private room in the Oak House (which has a shared kitchen and living area). The room was small, but clean and just perfect for our needs, as... More
