I can honestly say that for the money we paid it was the worst value I've ever experienced for a ski accomodation. (We've ski'd in Aspen, Copper Mtn, Breckenridge, Lake Tahoe, and Europe and paid less AND had MUCH better accomodations in all those places.) Just returned from 3 days in Vail and stayed at Simba Run. For the money it is an awesome value. Great location, excellent shuttle service, clean clean rooms with daily maid service. I would recommend this property to anyone and because we live in another ski resort (Crested Butte) we know what to look for. more

Simba Run met or exceeded all my expectations. My first concern was convenience to the slopes. Simba has 2 private shuttles that run to Lionshead every 20 minutes. However I only waited 20 minutes once my whole trip. Usually there was a shuttle waiting for us in the mornings. The shuttle dropped us off right at the Lionshead bus stop.... more
