This resort is beautiful with service excellence. While in Vail, I visited all of the top resorts and found the service to be comparable to the more expensive options. Beds were super comfortable for a dreamy night's sleep. There are valued perks with the resort fee amenities and highly recommend this property.

I'll preface my review by first saying that my family and I visited the Vail Marriott Resort in late January and it was quite busy at the time. I have never felt like I was nickled and dimed so much though. From the $30 parking fee to the $35/day resort fee which was unnecessary in every way. My wife and... More

Marriott always delivers! No matter if the hotel is in the city center or tucked away at the bottom of a ski run, the service is always consistent! This location in Vail is wonderful with the thick pine tree forests and the bubbling stream near by: a wonderful location!

Vail is inherently an expensive place, but this hotel is not that nice. I have stayed at Hampton Inns that are nicer for a fraction of the price. This hotel needs to be updated to uphold it's status as a prime Vail resort. Pros Nice and helpful staff Cons Dated furnishings Loud booming AC unit Fees and more fees

I was here during ski season and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is lovely, the grounds and amenities are first rate, and the food is great; but what makes this an exceptional property is the customer service. I felt so pampered by the car valets, the people who work behind the desk, the people who take your skis to... More

The Marriott is as one would expect. Clean, friendly staff, well run. Not a five star hotel but doesn't pretend to be. About 200-250 yards from the Lionshead gondola. Good restaurants in the village. Convenient access to the Vail shuttle which will take you to Vail village. The skiing in Vail is some of the worlds best. Back bowls not... More

Really enjoyed this hotel. Yes it is probably a bit dated but still has a lot of charm and you really feel that you are in the mountains with great views from the room. Rooms are comfortable with adequate storage. Great touches such as coat hooks in your room for ski jackets. Loved the large separate glass shower - perfect... More

It's probably like Hampton Inn or Best Western (2 star) with no customer service and a dungeon room feel. Definitely not at all what you would expect from Marriott property. Also, it's not a ski-in/ski-out, so it's a horrible deal for the price.

First impressions where negative, one of the most important aspects of a hotel should be the initial greeting. The bellhops where awful, their Freddy Krueger outfits said it all. No hello, no smile, not even a thank you after a tip. The one at nighttime was atrocious, we asked about a good spot to eat dinner and he turned his... More

I have stayed here a few times and had an enjoyable experience every time. If you book thru a discount travel service like expedia you will most likely be given the cheaper rooms - main difference is the location - street view vs mountain view type of thing. The breakfast is delicious. Though I like the pool it is not... More
